RE: Reference Letter for Mr. Emerson Bryan

I first met Mr. Emerson Bryan in July of 2009, while attending one of his Records and Information
Management courses. Mr. Emerson showed himself to be a knowledgeable professional, eager to share his
vast knowledge of RIM principles.

Since that time, and while working with Chapmans Records Management, I’ve had the opportunity to work
on several projects with him, including developing presentations for a two day local conference on best
practice methodologies for records storage and management. Additionally, as part of Access Records
Management, where we service several fortune 500 companies, I have engaged Mr. Bryan to assist us in
preparing high level proposals and analysis for some of our top local and International clients.

Mr. Bryan continuously shows exuberance and high interest in our field of Records and Information
Management processes, as well as Archival methodologies. He is constantly learning and is eager to
discuss the latest thought concepts in metadata structures and management, or best practice processes and
methodologies that advance the management of our field.

He is a hard working individual eager to share his knowledge and ready to apply the best possible solutions
in a practical environment. He is able to understand quickly the unique situations of various business
environments, and will develop Subject Matter Expertise to assist with the design of practical policies to
advance an organization’s goal related to records management.

I would strongly suggest Mr. Bryan for any high-level position related to the Archiving or Records
Management fields. He will not doubt be an asset in improving efficiencies, policy development and
management, as well as empower all those who work with him, with knowledge and enthusiasm for the
records management field.
