WORK INSTRUCTION FOR VMC MACHINE REV:00,ISSUE:01

S.NO PARAMETER

1. Do not use this machine unless you have been trained in its safe use and operation.

2. Pre – Operation

a) Ensure (e.g. Drawings, instructions, specifications etc.) is clearly understood.


b) Ensure operator wears appropriate PPE (e.g. Foot wear, clothing, hand gloves, goggle)
c) Check that the work piece is clamped securely in the bed of the machine.
d) Remove all tools & clamps from the bed of the machine.
e) Ensure correct computer controlled programmable is selected.
f) Identify ON/OFF switch and emergency stop button (if applicable).

3. Operation

a. Never leave the machine running unattended.


b. Before making adjustment or measurements hold and bring the machine to a complete
standstill.
c. Do not attempt to slow/stop the spindle or revolving work by hand.
d. Avoid letting swarf build up on the tool or job. By using air gun remove it.

4. Post-Operation

a. Switch off VMC machine before removing waste material from the machine.

WORK INSTRUCTION FOR CLEANING OF PREMISES REV:00,ISSUE:01

S.NO PARAMETER

1. Clean the shop floor & office daily.

2. Ensure that drinking water system & toilet system is neat and clean.

3. Ensure that all-working tables, chairs, other furniture, fans, tube lights etc. are neat and clean.

4. Ensure that nobody spits on the shop floor.

5. Cotton waste/scrap paper lying on the shop floor should be thrown in the dustbin.

6. Keep waste, generated during the shift bins.

7. Ensure that cutting oil, kerosene, machine oil etc. not spilled on shop floor.

8. Cutting oil, kerosene, machine oil etc. spilled on shop floor should be soaked immediately.

9. Do not keep loose papers, files etc. on tables after duty hours.

10. Pants, shirts, aprons changed while on duty to be kept at dedicated place only.

S.NO PARAMETER

1. Do not use this machine unless you have been trained in its safe use and operation.

2. Ensure (e.g. Drawings, instructions, specifications etc.) is clearly understood.

3. Ensure operator wears appropriate PPE (e.g. Foot wear, clothing, hand gloves, goggle)

4. Clean the milling m/c before its use.

5. Lubricant all parts of milling m/c.

6. Check m/c is properly working or not.

7. Select the cutting tool as per requirement.

8. Clamp cutting tool tightly.

Produce one job and handover it to Q.A.I/c to check it. If component is ok as per process plan,
9. then continue the production, if not then ask production I/c to set the m/c to get job as per
requirement.

10. After completion of production clean m/c & surrounding area.

WORK INSTRUCTION FOR DRILING MACHINE REV:00,ISSUE:01

S.NO PARAMETER

1. Do not use this machine unless you have been trained in its safe use and operation.
2. Ensure (e.g. Drawings, instructions, specifications etc.) is clearly understood.

3. Ensure operator wears appropriate PPE (e.g. Foot wear, clothing, hand gloves, goggle)

4. Check all electrical connection of machine for working condition.

5. Select the drill & fixture as per process plan.

6. Clamp the fixture & drill on machine & ensure that job rests correctly on the fixtures.

7. Drill the 1st job and offer to Prod I/c.

8. If approved start production. If not get instruction from Prod I/c ; make necessary changes till
next piece gets approved.

9. In continues production check jobs from Prod I/c as per process plan.

10. Keep rejected material in rejection area so that it can’t mix in ok jobs.

11. Switch off the machine & then clean the machine & machine area after the use.

WORK INSTRUCTION FOR ARC WELDING MACHINE REV:00,ISSUE:01

S.NO PARAMETER

1. Do not use this machine unless you have been trained in its safe use and operation.

2. Ensure task (e.g. Drawings, instructions, specifications etc.) is clearly understood.


3. Ensure operator wears appropriate PPE (e.g. Foot wear, clothing, hand gloves, goggle)

4. Ensure the work area is clean and clear of grease, oil and any other flammable materials.

5. Keep the welding equipment, work area and gloves dry to avoid electric shocks.

6. Stand on rubber insulating matting during operation (where supplied)

7. Ensure the gloves, welding gun and work leads are in good condition (i.e. no exposed wiring)

8. Identify ON/OFF switch and emergency stop button (if applicable).

Keep hands clear of work piece and away from electrode and ensure operator does not wrap electrode leads around
9. themselves.

Ensure power is turned off (from wall socket) before inserting or removing electrodes from electrode
10. holder/handle.

11. Ensure current is correctly set according to electrode selection.

12. Never leave the welder running unattended.

13. Ensure sufficient time for materials to cool before handling.

14. Switch off machine and fume extraction (if relevant)

15. Hang up electrode holder and welding cables.
