Poker strategy for beginners

This strategy is made for poker players who didn’t find their way to
win. It doesn’t guarantee you’ll win (poker involves luck, it’s not math…),
but it eliminate some common poker players mistakes:

1 – calling a hand with lot of money and fold after the turn or on the river;
2 – making a bet on pre-flop, don’t hit the flop and get raised by the
opponents;
3 – making inconsistent bluffs that get called;
4 – psychological fall-down after some bad beats;
5 – poor money management;

Below, I’ll present you the strategy in a quick and easy way.

I. Choosing the table and money management

1 – The strategy must be played at 9 or 10 players tables, No Limit

Hold’em; For best results I recommend the poker rooms with most weak
players:

Not accepting US Players:

Carlos Poker, Poker Room, Windows Poker, Euro Poker

Accepting US Players:
Carbon Poker, Full Tilt Poker, Cake Poker, Canbet Poker

Signing up at any of this poker rooms will also give you a first deposit bonus
(no bonus code required) that will boost your bankroll after its release.

2 – The money you enter the table must be around the average stack of the
other players;

3 – The money you enter the table must be at least 50 times the big blind;
4 – The money you enter the table must not exceed 10% of your starting
bankroll. I recommend using 5% of the bankroll (this requires a minimum
100$ bankroll). Don’t join a table with less than $5;

5 – Use the same amount of money each time you enter a table, no matter
the previous results;

E.G. 1: You have a starting bankroll of $50. You can’t use less than 10% of
your bankroll because it will be less than $5! You will have to use 10% of
$50, which is $5. The blinds must be at least 50 times less than 5$, this
means a maximum big blind of $0.10. You will choose 9 or 10 player No
Limit Tables with $0.10 big blind and join the tables with $5.

E.G. 2: You have a starting bankroll of $200. You should use 5% of your
bankroll, which is $10. You can play at No Limit tables (9 or 10 players)
with $0.20 big blind (50 times less than $10). You can also play at $0.10 big
blind, if the opponents have adequate stacks (around $10).

II. Action at the table

1 – Play ALL-IN from pre-flop with the following hands:

a) pocket pair (77 or better);
b) hand containing an Ace (with kicker 7 or better);

2 – Fold the rest (ANY OTHER COMBINATION)

3 – When you’re big blind, and don’t have the All-In cards, Check/Fold. If
you hit a very good flop (be careful at flush and straight draws), go All-In. If
not, Check/Fold. Same goes for Turn/River.

III. Leaving a table

1 – After first All-In showdown you have (if not a tie), no matter if
won/lost;
2 – If less than 5 players at the table (including you);
This is all. Below you have some explanations.

The strategy is based on three major factors in poker:

- probabilities
- psychology
- money management

Probabilistic side:

Any time you will get called to your All-In, you will have very good
Heads-Up hands, that in most of the cases will give you a 50% or better
winning chance. When you don’t get called, you will collect blinds and
previous calls/bets, that will usually increase your stack compared to the cost
of the blinds.

This strategy also eliminates the possibility of entering a flop with

good cards (e.g. AK), getting a very ugly flop (e.g. 3, 4, 6) and get bluffed or
beaten by an opponent with trash cards (e.g. 5, 7). If you have AK and he
has 5, 7 he will fold to your All-In. If he calls, you have 63.12% winning
chance.

Psychological side:

Your opponents will get irritated by your All-In’s. They might be

tempted to call you with bad cards, just to see if you’re bluffing. They also
can consider you a maniac that plays without any strategy and want to take a
try to beat you with weaker cards (e.g. K,10). That’s exactly what you want!
Play All-In’s with the first chance! Besides, your skilled opponents can’t
read you. They won’t catch you bluffing, consider you a call-station or
identify your poker playing style.

Money management:

Poker is like Forex or Stocks market. There are many players who
lose a lot of money because of the poor management. Poker can be very
frustrating sometimes. If you get a bad beat you’re tempted to play
aggressive to regain what you have lost. Big mistake! Those are the
moments when you can lose more than 70% of your bankroll. This strategy
protects you for becoming a maniac poker player. If you lose you leave the
table and enter another one playing the same way, at the same stakes.

GOOD LUCK!

Be aware that we’re talking about poker. There is no 100% winning

strategy. The strategy was tested on the long run and it worked. I cannot
guarantee it will work for you too (if I could, I would be a billionaire). But I
think that for $50 it worth a try. 
