Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

for
COVID-19

This SOP is a guide for TAR UC on the management of COVID-19 pandemic


within it’s campuses and premises, AND shall be applicable to ALL personnel
permitted from time to time to be present within the University College
campuses or premises.
General Principles:

1. Temperature screening implemented at designated entry points into


the campus is mandatory.

2. Use of 3-ply surgical mask is mandatory.

3. Social distancing and personal hygiene procedures to be strictly


followed at all times while on campuses and premises.
COVID-19 Preventive Measures
Always
1. … wear a face mask in the campus.
2. … maintain at least 1 meter distance between each other.
3. … wash your hands with soap and water/use hand sanitizer.
4. … practice good personal hygiene.
5. … seek treatment if experiencing symptoms.
6 … practice good sneezing and coughing etiquette.
7. … remain at your own accommodation unless necessary.
8. … scan QR code at every venue.
9. … comply with SOP.
Avoid
1. … crowded places.
2. … confined places.
3. … close conversation.
4. … shaking hands.
5. … squatting at friend’s accommodation.
6. … sharing personal items.
7. … touching face, eyes and mouth.

• After 6.00pm, Gate 2 will be closed. Enter
and exit in West Campus only using Gate 1.
• Gate 6 will be closed.
Detailed Plan for Permitted Laboratories/Workshops/Design
Studios Only

• Timetables will be planned to stagger student participation in each zone to


minimize numbers.
• At strategic areas, hand sanitizer will be available and chairs placed at least 1m
apart.
• Within each lab in the zones, each student is designated a seat also at least 1m
apart.
• Individual labs and common use equipment must be cleaned between sessions.
• Staff and students are required to record their attendances at all venues within
the campuses and premises.

• Have no cough
• Do not suffer from any breathing difficulties
• Have no other symptoms attributable to Covid-19

AND THAT YOU:


• Have Not visited another country in the last 14 days
• Have Not been in contact with a confirmed Covid-19 patient
• Have Not attended any mass gatherings
