2.2 Products and services with traits and key business focus

Initially we will offer two types services which is given below:

1. Legal section: All the sections of law according to the Bangladeshi constitution will
available in this segment. One can easily access and grebe knowledge from this part.
Suppose you riding your car or bike and traffic police stop you and said to you that you
are charged under section 304 road act. And you have to pay 500tk as violating traffic
signal or 200tk for using wrong route ( সরকার). You can check immediately what is
exactly explained in section 304 roads and transportation law and how much you have to
pay for that. As in our country most of us don’t know about this section and sometimes
we have to pay more than the exact amount. The most interesting part of this segment is
we can do it within few seconds as the system will work both searching the section
number and section name. As we are using different type of application every day so, it
will be much easier for anyone to use this application.

2. Online appointment: Suppose you need a specialist corporate/criminal lawyer for legal
issue, and it’s hard to find the best lawyer. It’s also difficult make an appointment for the
best lawyers. We will make it much easier than ever before. You can find the best lawyers
in our application. All you have to do just have to go through with some simple step as
you go through the regular mobile application. And the best thing about this segment is
we will charge less than the traditional method with less effort. In some cases many
people face ford lawyers and lost their valuable money. We promised to provide the
authorized and best lawyer. Our key business focus is to attract more customer towards
our application through our best service system that they ever have. More customer create
profit and popularity for the organization. So if we can keep our promise that will result
in customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is a powerful asset for any business
organization. If we satisfy our customer they will stay with us, and then they will say
good thing to their peers about us and the peer will come to us, and we will generate more
revenue

2
2.3 E Business Model
Our business follow two types of Business model:

1. Business to Business (B2B): In our business we will supply legal information and legal
consultant to different business organization. Sometimes in business organization faces
many legal action that is taken by other business organization or consumer. We will give
them the legal support.
2. Business to Consumers (B2C): As our organization basically built on the slogan of
“Justice for All” so we will focus on more in general people perspective. How to make
more convenient application for them. How to make the information flow easier for them.
If people found this application less complicated, they will deficiently choose our service

2.4 Drivers of e-business adoption in organization

1. Cost: It is costly to make an appointment with a lawyer to know about different section
and solution, where we make it cost effective as some basic things about the law will
provide totally free and we will charge very low for the basic solution and appointment.
2. Efficiency: It takes huge amount of time in traditional way to find any legal section when
we really need to know about it. It is also a difficult task to hire a perfect lawyer in
traditional way. By this mobile app both of them can be done easily and within a few
second.
3. Competitiveness: In our country, none of the legal organization start to serve via mobile
application which will give us competitive advantage. We will have a first mover
advantage by introducing this new system.
4. Government support: As our technology is unique in the country and government try to
create digital platform in every sector and it is one of the important sector of our country.
So the government will support us commercially like financing and legal benefits like
charging less tax to increase the good will of the country.
5. Technological Advancement and wider adoption: As this kind of technology is totally
new concept and almost all of us use android phone in our country. We use many type of
apps in our phone. So people can easily adopted with this technology. Countries like

3
India, USA, and UK already using this kind of mobile application. This brand new
technology will attract people.

3.0 Revenue Model

3.1 Value proposition
Most of the population of our country has less idea about the legal system of our country. Even,
they don’t have idea about their basic legal rights, their constitutional rights. Through this app,
people are going to know about their basic legal right of being a citizen of Bangladesh. Also,
people will get minor and major every kinds of legal solutions in this app. Through this app,
people will get to know the legal system of Bangladesh and through which procedures it goes on.

As said earlier, this app is going to provide different sort of legal services. There will be a part
named “constitution of Bangladesh”. In this part, all 153 sections of constitution of Bangladesh
will be included.

There will be another part named “basic ones!” In this part, there will be different kinds of law
will be included which should be known by the citizens of Bangladesh. In this part, traffic act of
Bangladesh along with sections, consumer rights protection act, 2009 along with sections, the
motor vehicle ordinance, and 1983 along with sections will be included.

Next part is named “battle and negotiate”. In this part, people will get a chance to hire lawyers or
arbitrators through this app. People can hire lawyers from different legal issues. There will be
lawyers who use to handle CPC (Code of Civil Procedure, 1908) related cases and CRPC (Code
of Criminal Procedure, 1898) related cases. In some extent, people don’t want to face the whole
legal procedure or don’t want to visit till the courtroom. Particularly this kind of situations
happen in marine related cases, family cases, business law related cases (Laws, 1908). In these
cases, people can hire arbitrators from the app. Under arbitration act 2001, all these issues will be
solved.

There will a Q&A part, in which people will be able to ask any legal questions. The panel of
expert lawyers will answer these questions.

4
3.2 Revenue model of Organization
1. Fee based revenue model: The revenue of the company will be generated by taking fee
from the app subscribers. The subscribers have to pay a specific amount while asking
legal help, legal advising, hiring lawyers etc. This app will let any subscriber ask the first
legal question free. After that they will have to pay a certain amount for each question.
While hiring any lawyer of arbitrator, subscriber will have to pay a certain percentage to
the app.

videos, digital banners, GIFS etc. in this app. Those organizations will have to pay a
certain amount for different advertisings if they want to advertise in this app (Essay,
2018).
3. Advertising-subscription based revenue model: This will be another revenue model
through which the revenue will be generated. This app will let subscribers pay a certain
amount as “subscription fee”. By doing so, subscribers will be have less encounters with
online advertisings (Essay, 2018)
4. Freemium revenue model: This revenue model is going to be used ahead. The subscribers
who will be able to pay through the “freemium” package will get extra advantages as a
subscriber. Also, subscribers will get to see less advertisements because of this revenue
model.

We are going to use customer based marketing strategy as this app is going to meet different kind
of legal needs. The app will try to ensure to help each and every subscriber through every
possible way. As said earlier, we will use fee based revenue model and advertising based
revenue model for the revenue generation of the app. In the case of fee based subscription
revenue model, there will be three ways to generate revenues from the subscribers.

1. Mobile banking: First process is mobile banking. In this process, revenues will be
collected by different mobile banking systems such as Bkash, Ucash, and Rocket etc.
2. Online banking: Another process will be online banking. In this process, revenue will be

5.0 Digital Strategy for E-Business

5.1 E-business Strategy that Support Corporate Strategy
1. Ad Supported Content: In our app there will be huge space for advertisement such as
game & food type advertisement. From these advertisement we will generate revenue
which will help us to run business properly. Also from these advertisement content we
can gain popularity which can help us to achieve goal.
2. Social media strategy: On Facebook we will open a page & there we will update our
service information such as discount, lawyer, different law section etc. that we can reach
our target client. Also on Facebook we will post some picture & videos about our sponsor
that will help us to reach target clients. These will also help to create brand value. From
social media promotion we can reach to our target client and among our target portion we
will gain popularity.
3. Search engine optimization: We will have some IT expert and they will optimize search
engine such as Google, yahoo etc. So that from Bangladesh when a person search about
legal consultancy, they can find our app within on top 3.
4. Mobile App: App is the main thing of our business. We will run our business through
app.
We don’t have any website. So everyone can enjoy our feature and contact with us
through mobile. For saving time and space and customer convenience, we developed
these app (Leonard, 2018).

5.2 Analysis of Business strategy

1. Strength: Our main strength is our clients. They visit our app & they take consultancy
from lawyer. When they take consultancy from our lawyer they have to pay. Especially

9
who live outside of Dhaka, they will be our main target client. Another is, there is no app
competitor in our business. There is so many website but no app about legal consultancy.
2. Weakness: 1st of all it is our online app. So we might lose our client who do not use
internet. Because our client is all age people. Mainly old age people can’t use internet so
that’s why we might lose these segment of client. 2nd is cost. Since we are new company
and our main target to gain revenue through commission. So we might not get so much
revenue through commission if the client don’t take consultancy from lawyer. Only
through commission maintain all cost and get profit will be more challenging for us.
3. Opportunity: Though it is an app business that’s why in our country, we can capture the
whole client segment. Everyone can use our app free. Also there will be our helpline
service through telephone & email. So everyone can communicate with us regarding there
problem.
4. Threats: When client want to take consultancy from lawyer they have to pay that’s why
many client might not take consultancy so we will not get any revenue. Also our app is
based on internet. So our app hampered by hack, get virus or other system threats. For
these we can might loss our revenue & also there will be cost to back our app in app &
protect the app.

5.2.1 Porters 5 Forces Model

1. Threats of New Entrants: There is no competitor in app business. Some have website
business but that’s are very low. Reason is, this idea design by some research and also
competitors need trained IT professional who can make app, huge capital and new ideas
that they can create a business like us.
2. Power of Buyer: As we have no direct competitor in our country, so buyer don’t have
control over us. They have to pay which amount we charge. They don’t have power to
negotiate for lower charge and prices down. So we can charge higher prices to increase
profitability.

3. Power of Supplier: As we are first mover advantage and there is no direct competitor. But
here our supplier is lawyer. They might have so many clients and also their own chamber.

10
So that’s why when we contact with them to work with us they might can charge higher
prices than their regular prices. So when we add our commission with their charges it can
be excessively high prices.

4. Threats of Substitutes: Substitutes services can be the threats for any company. As we are
the new company and only one in the country who provide legal consultancy through app.
That’s why the threats of substitutes is nonexistence. So we have more power to increase
our prices to make profitability and lock in favorable terms.
5. Competitive Rivalry: In our country, we are the first mover advantage. Because till now,
there is no direct competitor in the market

5.3 Competitive Threats and Remedy Threats

As a first mover, if our business is doing well and achieve huge popularity for our unique service
then other similar businesses like BDlex, FMA might come with similar feature in the app
market. They might can charge low prices. So in the market, it might make our survival tough.
Now, no businesses are not come with these feature in the app market. But the similar websites
about these service can be threats of us. Because they are already existing in the website that’s
why they might have so known lawyer than us which give them huge cost advantage

Remedy of Threats: In our country we are the only one who come up with these service in the
app market. So we will make patent that’s why no one can copy our feature. Continuously, we
will update our feature so that if any competitor arise we can know about them. We will give so
many discount and incentive to our both lawyer and clients so that we can holding out our lawyer
and clients. We still have a helpline so that if any one stack in problem they can contact with us.
We will take feedback from our both lawyer and client so that we can know how we can improve
day by day.

11
6.0 Information Security System
Consumers want to work with companies which conduct business in a way they trust and respect.
For e-commerce business, there is already lack of a personal touch, so without adequate IT
security people might not trust the business. Without the implementation of proper security
protocols, online business put itself and also their customers at risk for payment fraud, data
breaches etc. More often smaller business faces the biggest threat from cyber-criminals because
of insufficient Internet Security.

6.1 Information Security Threat

1. Malicious Codes: Malicious codes may exist in software system or script that cause
undesired effects, security breaches or damage to a system. Some example of malicious
codes is attack scripts, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, backdoors, Bots, botnets and
Driveby downloads. Once inside the environment, malicious code can enter network
drives and spread. Malicious code can also steal data and passwords; delete document
files, email files or passwords; and even reformat hard drives.
2. Data Breaches: It occurs when organizations lose control over corporate information to
outsiders. The data can be accessed by other user or apps. This may result in in
unauthorized use of data and breach of privacy. The leading causes behind data breaches
are hacking, employee error/negligence, accidental e-mail/internet exposure or insider
theft
3. Credit Card Fraud/Theft: Credit card fraud costs hundreds of millions of dollars every
year. The aim of credit card fraud is to purchase goods without paying, or to steal money
from someone else’s account. Lost or stolen cards may be used without their owner’s
permission. Card details, card number, card holder name, date of birth and address can be
stolen and misused.

12
4. Insider Attack: An insider attack is a malicious attack on a network or computer system
by a person who has access to the system. Inside attackers have advantage over external
attackers because they have system access and they are also familiar with network
security and system policies/procedures. In addition, often there is less security against
insider attacks because many organizations focus on protection from external attacks.
5. Identity fraud/Theft: The main purpose of identity fraud/theft is to use another person’s
personal data for illegal financial benefit. For example information in social security
number, driver’s license, credit card numbers, and usernames/passwords can be used
obtain credit, merchandise and services in the name of the victim, or to provide the thief
with false credentials

6.2 Most Dangerous Threat

The consequence of data breach can be severe. Our business will face a financial loss, we may
need to pay regulatory fine and settlement payments. The value of the company might fall. The
brand image may suffer; there may be lack of trust among user and investors. This will result in
loss of current and future revenue. Our business might also face lawsuits when there is breach of
personal information. The long term reputation of the company will be damaged. Senior officials
may also be forced to resign. Data Breach will disrupt operation of business .Important data may
be lost when there is breach of data which will further complicate business operation.

Malicious codes can affect business on daily business. It can disrupt IT and computer process
and can also steal, delete and hold to ransom valuable business and personal data. There will be
loss of trust among existing consumer and potential consumers might not feel safe to download
our app. Malicious attack can also breakdown the entire business network infrastructure. Besides
accessing sensitive information it can also control all application executing on user’s device
(Vercode).

13
6.3 Security Management
Therefore it is very important to take steps to prevent. Our business needs to implement proper
safeguards. Encryption can reduce the overall cost of data breach. By sender and receiver,
Encryption transforms data can be cipher text readable. It also secures stored information and
information transmission. Firewall can act as first line of defense against security threat,
.Antivirus software should be installed, and they need to be updated. Virtual server proxy server
and authentication procedure should be introduced to ensure IT security.
First the business needs to identify cyber security risk to the data. The company should always be
ready to respond properly when there is breach of data. Company also needs a response plan so
that everyone knows what to do in the event of IT. It needs to develop a security policy. It should
also have the ability to recover data and system that were stolen during data breach. Developing
a proper implantation plan is very important so that business can continue its operation as soon
as possible. Network security audits are important because they help business identify their
biggest security. “One-and-done” can’t be a network security audit solution. The company needs
to carry out risk assessment every year to identify IT risks (Velez, 2019).
