Quarantine Requirements

This fall, most curriculum at Lambton College in Toronto (LCIT) will be offered
remotely.

Given the current circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, we recommend

that you start your studies from your home country whenever possible.

Small numbers of students, staff, and faculty will be on campus this Fall to
accommodate graduating students’ lab requirements. Only graduating students in the
following programs are affected:

• Chemical Laboratory Analysis (LAQT)

• Quality Engineering Management (QEMT)

If you are not graduating from any of the above programs this Fall, there is no need
for you to come to Canada at this time. Your classes will be 100% online.
 For Those Who Choose to Come to Canada…
here is a sense of the process that you must follow

1. Complete the Pre-Arrival Requirements:

• Quarantine Plan
• Purchase a Quarantine Package or Book your hotel and arrange food delivery.
• Download the iCent App and ArriveCan App
• Complete Quarantine test at the end of this module
2. Once you have your Port of Entry (POE) letter, book your flight.
3. Update your iCent data with your flight info.
4. Arrange for pick up at the airport and transport to your place of Quarantine.
5. Check-in Daily with Quarantine Monitors
6. Book your Covid-19 test with your Quarantine Monitor
7. Upload your negative test result to iCent.
8. Complete your quarantine and arrange for transport to your Canadian residence.

1. It keeps us apprised of pertinent details regarding your travels.

2. It is a requirement for you to obtain your POE letter.

• Your quarantine details
• Your flight information
• Your arrival in Canada
• Your symptom checking
• Your Covid-19 test results

 AirPort Pick Up

• If you have completed the iCent App, you’ve likely provided us with your flight
details but, if not, make sure you email quarantine@cestarcollege.com to give us
this information.
• You will be met at the airport by Cestar personnel.
• You will have to verify your quarantine information.
• If your place of quarantine is in the Toronto area, transport personnel will deliver
you to your place of quarantine
• If you have arranged for your own transport, Cestar personnel will verify your plan
when you arrive in Toronto
 Quarantine Procedures
Upon Arrival in Canada:

• You will be required to conduct daily health checks (and confirm daily symptom
reporting) on the ArriveCAN app and iCent app.
• Students will be monitored by the LCIT/Cestar College monitoring team twice daily.
• Co-arriving immediate family members must also self-monitor and assess Covid-19
symptoms.
 Quarantine Procedures

Non-Compliance:

Students identified as in non-compliance with the Quarantine Act will be reported

to local authorities immediately. You MUST remain in your quarantine room for 14
days and you must have a negative Covid-19 test result.

Positive Covid-19 Test:

If a student tests positive for Covid-19 while in quarantine, the quarantine will
reset for an additional 14 days and the college will notify local Public Health
Authorities. YOU MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST TO LEAVE
YOUR QUARANTINE.
 Covid-19 Test

Covid-19 testing within the first week of your arrival in Canada is a mandatory
provision of your travel to Canada.

When?

College personnel will arrange for your Covid-19 test. Contact your monitor to book
your test. Monitors can be reached at quarantine@cestarcollege.com

Where?

• If you have purchased a quarantine package, your Covid-19 test will take place
in your hotel room.
• If you are at a residence, your test will take place at a testing centre.

All students will be monitored for the first 14 days in the Country.

Ø Covid-19 testing will also be conducted at the place of quarantine, via daily check-ins
with the LCIT monitoring team and the Government of Canada (through the iCent app).

Ø Active screening will be conducted at the sole controlled building entrance: North
Entrance from North East parking at 271 Yorkland Blvd.

LCIT/Cestar College monitoring team daily. Students are required to
respond to calls from the quarantine monitoring team:

a) Within 2 hours of contact

b) Within 24 hours of contact

d) Never – reporting through the daily compliance check on Moodle
only

local authorities via 311.
