Yarn Examining Machine

Standard Operating Procedure

1. Adjust the position of mobile pedestal according to the size of the

blackboard.
2. Move the yarn through the transmission shaft to the start position of the
board and lock the localizer tightly
3. Put the strap into corresponding slot according to the standard reeling
density
4. Choose pressing poise according to the linear density of yarn
5. Thread the yarn properly to the left side of board
6. Press start
7. The yarn will be reeled on the board according to set density, it will stop at
the right side automatically
8. Take down the blackboard for examination

Standard Operating Procedure

1 Thread and clamp the yarn properly between the two clamps
2. Select the type of twist ie “S” or “Z”depending upon twist direction
3. Set the stopper at the desired elongation value
4. Start the motor.
5. The motor will start untwisting the yarn and counter will start counting.

Standard Operating Procedure

1. Properly Wire the machine.

2. Adjust the distance between both jaws.
3. Adjust the leas sample between the jaws.
4. Press Start switch for operation.
5. Lower jaw will move in downward position till the lea is broken.
6. As Breaking occurs, note down the force from dial.
7. Take off the lea, and power off the machine.

Precautions

1. No external force should be applied during working.

2. Don’t touch the machine until it stops working.
3. Keep proper maintenance and oiling of the machine.
