    Dear Ma’am Amy, 

    I have recently seen your advert for a cashier in your store, and I would like to 
    apply for that position. I have had previous experience in working as a cashier, 
    now I am looking for a new opportunity and I am interested in working for your 
    company. 

    I learn quickly, I am a people person and I like to talk with customers and make 
    their visit a pleasant one, especially if they have waited for a long time to pay 
    and are fed up of waiting.  

    I am hard working, organized and dedicated, and am seeking to know all 


    about the area I am working in, and do other things as part of my cashier role, 
    now have enclosed my CV for you to look at and my experience in detail.
