Instruction: The Individual Activity Log Report & Minute of Meeting will cover CO4 and
PO12. Every student is required to write an individual activity log report that reflects
individual contributions towards their group. Any supporting figures, sketches,
calculations, etc. may be included in the log report and described appropriately to
support the works that had been done.

Below are the criteria that will be assessed and evaluated upon the log report:

▪ The individual activity log report needs to be written in a template as attached

below.
▪ All log reports needs to be compiled in a log file which may include other supporting
documents such as group profile, Gantt chart, copies of group’s minutes of meeting
and other supporting documents that are necessary.

1. A CAD software is a solid modelling computer program to create https://en.wikipedia.

and simulate object once created. In this project, Design Engineer org/wiki/SolidWorks
decides to use Solidwork instead of CATIA software due to its
reliability and more comprehensive.

2. In powerhouse department, Design Engineer (DE) will create a

housing compartment for generator and powerline to protect the
unit.

3. The shape and geometry of the powerhouse vary from several

parameters. Such as the constraints of the generator and the
length of powerline needed to supply the end user.

- Generator’s housing is now complete

- The total assembly of generator and turbine gives a big picture of

the fabrication process in future

- Housing of turbine is also constructed to protect from water splash

and debris.
