General Guidelines:

These guidelines were explained to the respondent before the administration of


the instruments.
• Attempt these instruments in a peaceful environment and with a clear head.
• There are no right or wrong answer to the statements mentioned in the
instruments.
• Be honest, don’t think too much and don’t change the answers once the
instrument is attempted.

Instrument wise Response Interpretations:

1. McClelland’s Motives

As per the results of the instrument, it is clearly evident that the respondent
is motivated by the sense of achievement, rather than power or affiliation.
The respondent has a strong need to set and accomplish challenging goals.
The respondent takes calculated risks and also likes to receive regular
feedback on their progress and achievement. The respondent even likes to
work alone sometimes or with other achievers. The respondent thrives on
overcoming difficult problems or situations and hence likes to be engaged
at most times.
2. Attribution of Success and Failure (ASUFA)

As per the responses, it’s clear that the respondent has an internal locus of
control. This means that the respondent believes that success is due to high
ability and high efforts, and they appear to be confident of it. The
respondent is more likely to attribute their failure to lack of their own
efforts. The respondent isn’t effected by failure much but success builds
their pride and confidence.

3. MBTI – PSI

As per the responses, the respondent is of the personality type – INTJ. The
respondent has a very high score for Introversion, which means that the
respondent is a private person and likes to introspect. The respondent
treasures privacy and likes to think before doing. The respondent has a high
score for Intuition as well, which means the respondent focuses more on
patterns and their meanings. The respondent is an imaginative person,
trusts their insights and likes to follow their hunches. The respondent likes
to take an objective view while solving a problem. The respondent like to
analyse, find the cause and effect relationships in situations and are fair in
nature. The respondent is adaptable and casual in nature. The respondent
is ready to explore new options and like to work in last minute pressure
situations.

4. Transactional Analysis

As per the responses, the respondent has high scores in the adapted child
and nurturing parent ego state. This means that the respondent is in the
adapted child ego state during majority of their transactions during the day.
The respondent usually does what others want and is open to complying to
others if it makes sense to them. The respondent is a kind and
understanding human and takes the feelings of other people into
consideration while interacting with others. The respondent will care about
others and will make sure others feel good.

5. Johari Window Model

As per the responses, the respondent seems to have low score on both
willingness to share feedback as well as solicit feedback. The respondent
has a the ability to have good interpersonal relationships. The respondent

others and demands feedback from time to time.

that the respondent is a very introverted person with an internal locus of
control. Hence the respondent is a bit reserved and may have sour
interpersonal relationships. The respondent likes to think before doing and
takes pride in working in pressure situations. The respondent likes to take
orders and follow them till the end without questioning them and likes
responsibility. While solving problems, the respondent likes to take an
objective view and if successful, they tend to associate it with their efforts
rather than external factors. Hence the respondent is adaptive as well as
more open to change.
