The Company

DEMECH CHEMICAL PRODUCTS PVT.LTD. (ISO 9001- 2015 accredited.) Began its
operations in 1993. It started manufacturing and marketing Cold Welding Products, Wear and
Abrasion Resistant Products, and Epoxy Grouts. The products were found to be very useful for
maintenance engineers.

DEMECH CHEMICAL has then diversified into other specialty coatings like High Solids
Epoxy Coatings, Glass Flakes Coatings, Chemical Resistant Coatings, Floor Coatings etc.

The unique feature is that, DEMECH CHEMICAL is having all the facilities right from
developing the formulations till manufacturing and execution of projects under one roof.
There is not a single product which is being outsourced and company undertakes the total
responsibility of project executions right from the recommendation of the systems till
obtaining the desired performance of the equipments

The Products

DEMECH CHEMICAL offers wide range of products. Some of them are very essential for
enhancing the life of the equipments; whereas some are used for preventive maintenance and some
for day to day maintenance.
1. INTERNAL PIPELINE COATING
Technology for internal pipeline coating with complete automation is developed by us. We
have complete automatic blasting and coating set up which can line up pipes from 75 NB onwards
and can do the coatings up to 12 mtrs. at one go. Welding joint coating at 12 mtrs are also
attended on sites by special automatic equipments.

Composites made up from Epoxy, Polyester resin, Polyurethanes and Vinyl esters are
developed with glass flakes like fillers which forms impermeable layer to protect the
substrate from corrosion and biological growth.

Based on the customer needs & flowing media, suitable product can be chosen from our
wide range. All these products are 100% solids, free from voc, which keep environment
protected.

2. EXTERNAL PIPELINE COATING

To protect pipes from aggressive coastal & chemical atmospheric corrosion, Demech
Chemical has lot of composite coatings of Polyurethane, Epoxy and Vinyl ester to offer.
These can be applied in thicknesses of 200 microns to 2 mm.

3. CONCRETE ASSET COATING

It is a high build, fast set, elastomers providing significant protection to various concrete. It
is a Solvent less coating which can be applied upto 25mm thickness. It has concrete crack
bridging ability upto 2.0mm. Other advantages are strong bonding on any substrate including
stainless steel. , excellent resistance to thermal shocks (-50˚C, 200˚C), resistant to various
chemical (pH 1 to13), provide waterproof seamless membrane, low permeability – water and
chloride. It can be directly applied on concrete substrate.

4. TANK INTERNAL COATINGS
Industry requires high chemical resistant coatings for tanks. Conventionally rubber lining was
the only solution. But this is costly method and takes more time for installation. Repair of
damaged area is also difficult and highly prone to fail at joints which are difficult to repair. These
liners become harder due to aging which then start cracking.
Demech Chemical has developed chemical coatings which are composites made from Vinyl
Ester and Glass flake which gives better Chemical resistance than rubber and also these
coatings are joint less. Due to these monolithic coatings, chances of getting disbonded from
the substrate are nil. It does not age, can be installed quickly and localised repairs are possible.

6. TANK BOOT SEALING


We provide Flexible coating for external boot sealing
of both concrete and metal surface. Which provides
excellent resistance to weathering and UV resistance.

7. CHEMICAL RESISTANT COATINGS

Apart from vessel liners we have also developed innovative coating for ferrous &
nonferrous surfaces prone to chemical attacks. Conventionally acid brick lining was being
used by industry by decades which are highly susceptible to fail at joints and get dis-
bonded.
Demech Chemicals have monolithic chemical
resistant polymer liners which give better adhesion
strength. These liners are excellent chemical resistant
and totally seamless. Unlike bricks or rubber liners,
these monolithic liners can take any shape as per the
structure and cover complete area without any gaps.
They also enhance the aesthetics of the assets. All DM
tanks, N-Pits, trenches and drains, Pedestals, pump
foundations are protected from chemical attacks.

8. FGD LINING

The flue gas in


temperature ranges
from 40 to 80˚C,
which will be flowing
through the duct.
These sections are
recommended with
Vinyl Ester Glass
Flake lining due to
the corrosive nature
of low temperature
flue gas. These lining
offer excellent
resistance for this
application. These
system are designed
to with stand high
temperatures as high as 240° C. Special agents can be easily incorporated in the system
to derive the various application parameters such as non-sag, improve adhesion, reduce
permeability. These system have enough flexibility to accommodate the thermal strains.
These system offers resistance to wide pH range and high temperatures, with improved
resistance to sulfuric acid.
9. ENERGY EFFICIENT COATINGS
A smooth, hydrophobic, glossy coatings specially to be applied on pumps
which improves its efficiency up to 2% to 3%; offering savings in energy
costs to industry. We have ceramic based coatings and Glass Flake based
coatings in this range. Industry can choose suitable coatings depending on
the flowing media & velocity. These coatings also take care of pitting on
pump surfaces and gives smooth profile to pumps which helps to eliminate
the turbulence.

10. MAINTENANCE REPAIR OPERATION

weld products specially designed to
reclaiming or rebuilding surfaces
