Who can Apply?

o Only those on the last year of senior high school can apply as a college freshman
o Freshman applicants who already graduated from senior high school must not have taken any
units or enrolled in any college / university before and/or during the application period
o Those who have taken units in college must apply as transfer applicants

Ways to Apply
o Through the ACET: The Ateneo College Entrance Test (ACET) is the standardized exam that
applicants to the Ateneo de Manila University are required to take
o Through the SAT: Those studying outside the Philippines may replace the ACET with their
SAT scores.
o Through the IB: Those taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme may
submit their IB scores in lieu of taking the ACET provided the following guidelines (this is also
found in the starter kit) are met.

IF YOU INTEND TO TAKE THE ACET AT ATENEO DE MANILA, SUBMIT THIS

CHECKLIST.
VISIT https://acet.ateneo.edu/apply. (this ^^) Read especially the starter kit and magazine.
 DOWNLOAD APPLICATION FORM.
 PRINT on A4 size bond papers. Quality of print should be NORMAL.
 FILL OUT the forms PROPERLY and COMPLETELY.
 ATTACH your recent 1x1 ID in the space provided in page 4.
 ATTACH your recent two 1x1 ID pictures on your exam permit.
 COMPOSE your personal essay. Use A4 size bond paper.
ASK YOUR PRINCIPAL to fill out your High School Record and Principal's Recommendation
Form.
ASK YOUR Grade 12 GUIDANCE COUNSELOR or CLASS ADVISER to fill out your
Guidance Counselor's / Class Adviser’s Recommendation Form.
ASK ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR TEACHERS from Grade 9 to 12 to fill out your Teacher's
Recommendation Form.
READ the University Privacy Policy for Applicants, Students, and Alumni.
SETTLE THE APPLICATION FEE. Go back to https://acet.ateneo.edu/apply for details.
