    Butterfly valves are used in water works and come in sizes from 3 inches to 160 inches. They have a disc, stem, and body that can be made of rubber or other materials. The disc sits between the body and retainer and rotates via the stem to open and close water flow. End covers on either side contain bushings, linings and other parts to seal the valve and control water flow through the main body.
