Introduction:
Now-a-days in the business arena, SBE is holding unique places. Generally Small Business
Enterprise refers to that kind of business organization which has some workers, little resources
and the overall sales are very much low in great extent. This is apart from the normal kind of
enterprise. People are becoming so much inclined to SBE as the part of their enthusiasm and
advantages. For accomplishing this assignment a renewable British based company named
Cambridge Satchel Company has been selected. In this assignment about various kinds of
aspects of SBE will be tried to elaborate in details.

LO1 Enabling to investigate the performance of a selected small business enterprise

1.1 Producing a profile of a selected small business identifying its strengths and
weaknesses:
Basically the selected company Cambridge Satchel Company is a private company limited. All
types of characteristics of SME are remained in this organization. A gentleman named Julie
Deane and his mother are the owners of this assignment. This company was established in 2008
and after founding that business, the organization is doing its purposes very well. In this regard,
both the organization and the customers are getting so much benefited by the means of following
the SBE. The company mainly produces leather and leather based products (SAYLAN, 2016).

At the matter of Cambridge Satchel Company, there are some kinds of weaknesses and strengths.
Those are given below.

Strengths:

a) The main strength of Cambridge Satchel Company is its huge popularity in the current
British market.
b) Due to its unique performance and its good name for its products, the customers are well
known about the company.
c) As the products are very cheap with its long durability, so it can easily attract the
customers towards the customers.

Weaknesses:

There are also some weaknesses, that are-

a) Due to the company’s unique performances, sometimes the increasing amount of the
customers can demand so many products but sometimes the company often fails to meet
the demand with the limited supply of the products.

identified weaknesses in the business:
By the way of making the SWOT analysis, some weaknesses of Cambridge Satchel Company
have been identified. Proper recommendations about it are discussed below:

a. Identification of the weaknesses: Before solving any kind of weaknesses of anything or


any organization, the existing weaknesses should be found out by the relevant authority.
In this case, the Cambridge Satchel Company should be very much aware. At first in this
issue, the company should fix up.
b. Making vision and mission: Just after identifying the existing weaknesses of the

renewable company. In order to flourish any kind of company or business organization,
the company’s local market should be flourished and concentrated. As the basement of
any kind of company is relied on the local market of the company’s location. In this case,
