EPOXY PRIMER
Versatile Epoxy Primer use as the prime coat for both Epoxy and Polyurethane floor
coating and Epoxy Screed. It is a low viscosity two component epoxy resin coating on
concrete and other mineral surfaces.

Features and Benefits:

o Used for sealing the concrete surfaces by filling into the minute cracks and
fissures, thereby block the pores, preventing air release so that the subsequent
coating applied on the primed surface cures without any blow holes..
o It improves adhesion of the main coat.
o Ready to use packs .
o High adhesive strength and mechanical properties.

Pot Life : 2 hours @ 25 0C
: 1.5 hrs @ 300C
Coverage : 0.15 ~ 0.28 kg/m2 depending on surface nature
and porosity.
Application Temp : 10 0C ~ 40 0C

Application Procedures:

o Surface to be applied shall be leveled, clean, dry and free of laitance, oil ,
grease etc. Blast tracking is advised to prepare the surface prior to application.
o Mix component A and B as per the packing of the kit using slow speed electric
drill for about 3 ~ 5 minutes to obtain a homogenous mix.
o Apply by roller/ brush @0.15 to 0.2 kg / m2 depending on the surface profile
and porosity.
o Avoid over application or puddles.

Performance tips:

o Do not apply the material beyond recommended pot life.

o No reduction of material should be done as it can affect film build, appearance
and adhesion.
o Do not add catalyzed Epoxy primer material with new.
o Applicator can walk on wet primed substrate with the aid of spiked shoes to
overlay primed surfaces with epoxy screeds.

Clean up:

o Clean up tools with solvent naptha or xylene.
