Hero Motor crop(MNC)
History of company:

Hero Honda is the largest two wheeler company with their registered office in India. Hero
motorcrop is one of the most successful two wheeler manufacturer joint venture company in
the world. The joint venture between hero group from India and Honda motor company from
Japan. They operate their joint venture in 1984 in the name of Hero Honda motors limited. The
Japanese technology which came from their Japanese partner “Honda” in the Hero motorcycles
made it a huge hit in Indian market. The company continued to use the same technology till
they parted ways with Honda. The company offers wide range of two wheelers including

The objective of the study is to know about the process of training and development, and
employee evaluation of Hero Motor Crop company.

Training methods of Hero Motor Company Limited:

On-The-Job Methods

A. Job Rotation
B. Coaching
C. Job Instruction
D. Committee Assignments

On The Job Method trainee learn under the supervision of qualified trainer and instructor. And
mostly the advantage of On-The-Job training learner gets the firsthand knowledge and
experience under the actual situation.

Job Rotation: It Means trainee gain knowledge from one job to another and supervision of the
different job assessment. this methods helps trainee to understand the problems of other job.

Coaching: In this section supervisors give feedback and suggestions to the trainee on his
performance and ask about some duties and responsibilities on their job.

Job Instruction: This method is also known as Step By Step Methods. Trainer teaches step by
step how to do the specific job and give feedback and corrects the trainee.

Committee assignments: trainees asked to solve an organizational problem jointly.

Evaluation of training program:

The basis of evaluation and the method of collection of information for evaluation has been
defined as “any attempt to obtain information on the effects of training performance and to
assess the also of training the light of than information”. Evaluation is crucial in ascertaining
whether or not the training program is providing to be effective and its objectives being
achieved. Evaluation leads controlling and coercion the training programs, suggested five levels
at which evaluation of training cal take palaces. They are reactions, learning, job behavior,
organization, ultimate value. Training evaluation information should be provided to the trainers
and instructors, trainee’s ads all other parties concerned for control, corrections and
improvements of trainees activities. Further the training evaluator should follow it up to ensure
implementation of the evaluation report at every state. Feedback info maroon can be collected

Runner Group (Local)


History of Runner Group

Runner Group, starting business ventures with the flagship company Runner Automobiles
Limited (RAL) in the year 2000, has emerged as a prominent business conglomerate in
Bangladesh. Runner Motors Limited (RML), a major concern of Runner Group, was formally
commissioned on 12th October 2004 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. As per agreement with Eicher
Motors Ltd. of India inked in 2004, RML has been playing the role of Exclusive Distributor of
famous Eicher brand trucks and pickups in Bangladesh. RML has organized its dealer network
and well covered service supports countrywide and is now having around 20% market share in
overall commercial vehicle industry and 35% market share in the Light and Medium (LMD)
segment in Bangladesh. Since first year of operations (2004-05), RML received the No. 1
Overseas Distributor award from VECV for the last eleven years successively. [ CITATION htt20

Training Method:

An employee’s satisfaction with training and the effectiveness of that training are very
dependent on the method in which the material is presented. More than half the respondents
(68%) indicated that they learn best via on-the-job training. Additionally, the job instruction
technique is the most suitable method according to the employees of Runner Automobiles
while lecture is the most suitable technique for off-the -job training method.

Runner Motors deals with two wheeler products. So for the manufacturing reassembling of the
products as well as to have concept about the new product, is on the job training is very
essential. The other hand to give idea about the new products to the customer, leaf-let, booklet
or any other equipment is essential for the employees who are doing job in sales and service

Evaluation method of runner group:

Learning:

This level solely focuses on what employees are learning from the current training program. It
allows personnel to be more understand what they can be doing better when working on the
training program. Additionally, they can communicate their feelings regarding confidence and
motivation, which can be a sign of what change, is required to ensure the employee is
committed to working on the objectives they seek to accomplish. It's also a way to test their
comprehension of concepts they're learning.[ CITATION Ekr16 \y \l 1033 ]

Behavior:

The behavioral evaluation looks at a program's learning environment to determine whether


personnel use what they learned in their training to succeed in daily tasks. An employee may
have liked the design of a training program and absorbed vital information, but the
communication or cultural structure could be improved to help the employee improve their

Results:

This level reviews whether an employee met their learning objectives and examines where
they still need to grow. It can also determine whether the organization received any return on
investment from the employee's work activities with regards to the amount of time it took to
reach this point in their development. Some employers focus on what outcomes they want to
see improve first to guide employees on the expectations they have for them. Some examples
of metrics a company may be measuring for include increased morale, sales and customer

Conclusion

Recruitment is an important issue for any organization. Recruitment and selection allows an
organization to assess the vacancy and choose the best personnel who will lead the
organization in future. So the organization should give more emphasize on selecting a person. A
person who can carry forwarded the organization in terms of development, values and ethics.
Mainly the precious resource for any organization is their knowledge based efficient workers.
The organizations should more cautious on this issue to ensure the quality and ethics.

From the above discussion we can easily understand that Runner Group and Hero Motor crop
Company limited is one of the most reputed Company in both Bangladesh and India. There are
many product and services of Runner group and hero Motor Company is available in
Bangladesh. At this moment the company is in growing position. But the strategies of the
companies will make the company “number one” Auto mobile company in both Bangladesh
and India.

So we can easily find out the Human resource practice, recruitment and selection process,
employee satisfaction and relations at Hero motor company is a very developed and effective
one. As a company for making the process more effective hero motor crop should analyze the
recruitment and selection process of other company of home and abroad.
