KEY TERMS ON AUTOMATIC MORATORIUM

Terms Description
Eligibility 1. Reference is made to the automatic Moratorium‟s directive issued by
Bank Negara Malaysia („the Moratorium”).
2. The Moratorium is granted to the eligible individuals and SMEs (“Eligible
Customers”) that satisfy the following criteria :-
(a) Loans/financings not in arrears for more than ninety (90) days as of

1 April 2020;
(b) Rescheduling and Restructuring Program with the Bank or under
Agensi Kaunseling & Pengurusan Kredit (“AKPK”) save and except

for account not in arrears exceeding 90 days as of 1 April 2020.
Moratorium 3. The Moratorium‟s period is from 1st April 2020 to 30th September 2020.
Period
Options 4. Eligible Customers are opted in automatically. To opt out, Eligible
Customers are required to email customersupport_crd@bsn.com.my
5. Eligible Customers are not required to make any repayments/payments
on the loans/financings during the Moratorium period if the Eligible
Customers choose to opt in.
6. After the Moratorium ends, Eligible Customers are required to resume
servicing the loans/financings as normal.
7. Standing Instructions:
(a) Opt in - Standing Instructions will be temporarily stopped during the
Moratorium period
(b) Opt out –Standing Instruction will remain
Others 8. All other terms & conditions of the loans/financings remained unchanged,
save as is necessary to give effect to the Moratorium.
9. The Bank reserves the rights to amend the terms and conditions of the
loans/financings from time to time to give effect to the Moratorium
including but not limited to vary the terms and conditions of the
loans/financings, increase monthly instalment amounts and/or tenure,
during or after the Moratorium period. Any changes, however, will be
communicated to the Eligible Customers.
10. This Key Terms shall be read together with:
(a) any provisions or representation contained in any other materials
advertising the Moratorium; and
(b) the prevailing terms and conditions of the existing terms of the
loans/financings which shall apply in addition to this Key Terms. If

there any conflict or inconsistency, this Key Terms shall prevail to
the extent of such conflict/inconsistency.
11. This Key Terms shall be subject to any prevailing laws, regulations and
guidelines, directives and notices issued by BNM or any other bodies
having supervisory authority over the Bank from time to time.
12. The Bank shall have the right to disqualify the Eligible Customers that it
determines to be acting in breach of this Key Terms and/or any other
terms.
13. To the extent permitted by law, the Bank will not be liable to Eligible
Customers or any party for any losses or damages resulting from:
(a) Eligible Customers‟ participation or non-participation in the
Moratorium; and/or
(b) any non-receipt or delayed receipt by Eligible Customers of any
communication and/or notice duly sent by the Bank.
14. Eligible Customers must ensure that their contact number, mailing
address and/or e-mail address (“Communication Details“) with the Bank
are updated. The Bank shall not be responsible for any loss arising
therefrom, suffered or incurred by the Eligible Customers if the
Communication Details maintained in the Bank records are not current
and/or accurate.
15. Notwithstanding the Eligible Customers‟ participation in the Moratorium,
all of the Bank rights‟ pursuant to the terms and conditions of the
loans/financings shall remain intact and enforceable.
