= first of all, I have to equip myself with the understanding of our biology and on life
in general. In order that I will know where to put my feet on any issue regarding our origins.
And then I will talk to him (my grandfather) calmly with reverence that he’s wrong. And then
explaining to him the whys and hows of science.

1. the difference would be whether the ethics of an act are judged by the consequences
of that act, or by the actors. The deontologist would argue that killing a fetus is a crime since
they are already a human while, on the other hand, the consequentialist might say that it’s
okay to kill an unborn fetus because when they will be born, they might not be taken care of
and starved to death? Therefore, it’s better to kill them while they are not able feel pain just
yet.
2. the key difference between act and rule utilitarianism is that the principle applied
“directly” to the evaluation of individual actions while rule utilitarian applies its principles
“directly” to the evaluation of rules and then evaluate individual actions by seeing if they
obey or disobey those rules whose acceptance will produce the most utility. Act utilitarian
does not bother to participate in activities that requires cooperation with others to achieve the
goal.
