Question of: The Questions of Protecting Women’s Rights to Abortion and the Use of
Contraception

Reaffirms that the WHO study that dictates 45% of abortions performed are “unsafe”,

Deeply regretting the mental condition of the women who go through an unwanted
pregnancy,

Reaffirms that all countries within the UN must give their citizens equal rights as to abide
by the UN charter article 1,

Reaffirms that abortion can be used in order to combat overpopulation and the problems
that arise through it,

Further recalling a large amount of protests against current women’s rights,

1. Calls upon all foreign governments support for gender issues, this will be done
through:
a. Increased political support
i. Party specific campaigns
b. Better financing for such services to make it readily available
c. Increased awareness;

2. Further requests better financing for actions for equality, this could be done
through:
a. Cooperating with NGOs in the local area, such as:
i. Women's Global Empowerment Fund
ii. Women for Women International
b. International fundraisers
c. Forms of taxation (where applicable);
i. Some of the taxes will be used in order to conduct research
regarding abortions in order to make them safer;

3. Expresses its foreign policy by taking action for equality more visible, this will be
done through:
a. Embracing protests regarding women's rights
b. In developed countries with high taxes the taxes will be used in order to
provide the people with free health care;
4. Recommends that all governments support abortion and right to contraception,
as to:
a. Abide by Article 1 of the UN Charter
b. Decrease overpopulation in underdeveloped countries as well as
developed countries
i. A decreased population in underdeveloped as well as developed
countries is beneficial as they aid in protecting the economy and
decreases unemployment rates;

5. Endorses the protection and reintegration of women that have been exposed to
sexual abuse or other forms of traumatic experiences:
a. Begin programs with the aim of rehabilitation to all who require
i. Led by trained volunteers
b. Scheduled checkups to ensure that the mental state of the person who
has done the abortion would not rise.
i. Care dogs will be provided to people depending on their mental
state in order to comeback mental disorders such as PTSD and
depression;

6. Calls For the creation of a “mobile clinic” organization with the aim of providing
temporary high quality service to underdeveloped countries:
a. Funded by:
i. Fundraiser events
ii. Public donation
iii. UN
b. Managed by the UNHRC and the UN ECOSOC.
