Contrast marketing concept and Selling concept

Marketing concept involves orienting the business according to the customer needs e.g. a company might

identify the customer need and according to that they create a product which fulfill the need of customer and the

customer will buy the product happily which resulting profit for the company.

Selling concept involves orienting the business to sell as many product as possible e.g. a company which have

created a product which doesn’t like by customer in order to sell such a product company will use aggressive

tactics to sell their product by heavy advertising and pushy sales to convince their customer to buy.

In reality this is not happen and companies who pursuing the selling marketing concept often fail in

business.

But I can take one common example of a company which lies in Lahore naming Lahore shoes company who

sell their products on sell in different cities of Pakistan on sail means by giving (50% discount) to the customer.
