    Freeze drying

    Turn on
    1. Check oil level of vacuum pump
    2. Turn on freeze dryer
    3. Turn on compressor
    4. Close air valve and remove dust cap
    5. Check if all connections are closed (#8 should deviate a bit)
    6. Turn on vacuum pump
    7. Turn on vacuometer and check if pressure drops
    8. Ready to freeze dry if pressure<15Pa and temperature<-50˚C
    9. Connect frozen sample and open connection gradually

    Turn off
    1. Open air valve
    2. Close sample connection while supporting flask
    3. Turn off vacuum pump when vacuum is removed
    4. Turn off compressor
    5. Turn off freeze dryer
    6. Clean and dry machine
