13 Calibración PT
When you select the PT calibration phase you will get following screen
Pressing the number 1, 2, 3, or 4 you will be able to change any time value in order to create
a new calibration curve.
With keyboard will be possible to set a new time value, equal to 100% of activity.
For decimal number, use this key “.” for separate the numbers
With radial keys “#” it’s possible to delete the last character
Press “enter” for to confirm the new values, after setting all values press “exit” for to exit.
When you select the Fibrinogen calibration phase you will get following screen
Pressing the number 1, 2, 3, or 4 you will be able to change any time value in order to create
a good calibration curve.
x2 ?
Using the keyboard can input the new time value obtained for a CALIBRATOR X2 concentration
plasma, you can use the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 keys plus the “.” for decimals
With radial keys “#” it’s possible to delete the last character
Press “enter” for to confirm the new values, after setting all values press “exit” for to exit.
WARNING The concentration values are referred to the calibrator in use, for
example if your calibrator is 320 mg/dl, the four values will be 640 mg/dl, 320
mg/dl, 160 mg/dl and 115 mg/dl, mean CONC x 2, x CONC 5, CONC x 33

17 Editor Parameters
Moving with ▲ and ▼ arrows up and down you can choose the parameter you want to change:
• WAVELENGTH
• CUTLINE A
• CUTLINE B
• DEAD TIME
• NO CLOT SEC
• NORM MIN
• NORM MAX
• RATIO SECS
• INCUBATION
• DELAY
18 Parameter Description
WAVELENGTH – This is the wavelength preferred to perform this test, 1 for the blue(450nm),
2 for the red(630nm) and 3 for green(510nm).
CUTLINE A** – Please, not change this parameter, it will be changed only from technical
responsible.
CUTLINE B – Please, not change this parameter, it will be changed only from technical
responsible.
DEAD TIME – This value in seconds during that the clot detector doesn’t work, is a free zone
just to give the time reaction to be more stable optically.
NO CLOT SEC – This is the value in seconds for the NO CLOT message.
SENSPERC - Please, not change this parameter, it will be changed only from technical
responsible.
RATIO SECS – This is value in seconds that will be used in RATIO calculations.
* viene aggiornato in automatico per la PT ad ogni registrazione delle calibrazioni.
INCUBATION – This is value in seconds that will be used from the countdown function in
analysis.

20 Waste disposal
Intrument, Used cuvettes, pipette tips, reagent and plasma containers must be disposed in
compliance with biohazard and legal provisions.
The instrument does not fall under Directive 2002/96 / EC
(Directive on waste electrical and electronic di apparecchiature (WEEE).
21 Troubleshooting
Instrument does not switch on Check power line, power supply and
connecting cables.
With duplicate testing Check the quality of the pipet tips (or
reproducibility is not good pipettor) used.
