of key words in a sentence by looking at
surrounding words. These words will
give her the clue to understand the whole
sentence. Write a sentence on the board
“Early man was frightened of fire” and
ask the child the meaning of the word
frightened by using surrounding words as
clue. By this activity student will read,
understand and use keywords in context.
Worksheet based on this will be
