opened and water is drained to the drain pipe. And then valve is opened and a
fire alarm is activated by the operation of 2nd side pressure gauge and an
extinguishant water is rapidl y discharged to a fire at 2nd side(or Test
drainage pipe) .

Drained water by the operation of electronic ball valve is drained to the drain pipe. And the automatic

Description

The Masteco MGCV check valve is compact, light weight, and

hydraulically efficient valve that allows flow in one direction. ULC
MGCV is UL listed and FM approved fire use in fire protection
systems for services up to 300psi (20.7bar). MGCV is available TOP VIEW
from sizes 2 inch (50mm) to 6 inch (150 mm).

MGCV is grooved on both ends to standard ANSI groove

specification and can be installed with standard UL Listed and CHECK
FM approved grooved coupling, such as Victaulics, Grinnel,

Tyco, Anvil, etc. Model MGCV can be easily maintained by
removing the grooved coupling. D

* USL, CNL - Models MGCV-2G, MGCV-2.5G, MGCV-3G, MGCV-4G and MGCV-6G

spring loaded swing check valves with grooved ends in sizes 2, 2-1/2, 3, 4,

CONSTRUCTION DETAILS:

The devices have been examined and found to comply with the applicable
requirements of the Standard for Check Valves for Fire Protection Service, UL
312 and the Canadian Requirements for Check Valves, in effect as of the date
of this Report.

USE:

The products covered by this Report are intended for use in accordance with
the National Fire Protection Association Standards for Low Expansion Foam,
NFPA 11, the Installation of Sprinkler Systems, NFPA 13, the Installation of
