This email is in response to your query about the latest briefing by the president.
The new president has given his positive agreement for a new gas project in his
recent visit to interstate gas systems (private) limited. The project focuses on
natural gas from Russian company.
Gazprom’s sources in Middle East to Pakistan. The Country’s gas crises is
alleviated by the project as it will import 500 million to 1 billion cubic foot of gas
daily through sea link. Its computed coast is 10 billion dollars nearly.ISGS states
that the pipeline construction will be completed in 3 to 4 years.
The president or chairperson of ISGS claim that this off shore gas pipeline
agreement begins with carrying out a feasibility report that will evaluate the
technical and financial aspects of the project, next a plan will made according to
which other side projects like underground gas storage will start and next main
pipeline constructionwill start. The Pakistan’s importance in road and belt will
highlighted when several projects of CPEC are already underway.
