Rationale:

We are living amidst one of the greatest threats in our educational system, the COVID Pandemic, which is
definitely a health issue. It is not only our country but the whole world was severely disrupted and affected
especially in the aspect of the education of our learners. The crisis crystallizes the dilemma we are facing whether
to forego the opening of classes this school year, reading contact and waving lines, or keep the school opening
schedule provided by law which is a great challenge.
Pulang Yuta Elementary School commits to support and strengthen our mandate that quality education
should be given to all our school children despite the crisis. DepEd Order No. 007, s.2020 School Calendar and
Activities for School Year 2020-2021 and Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan is of great help for us to ensure
educational continuity amid the crisis.

OBJECTIVES:
In line with DepEd’s mandate to continuously improve itself to better serve its stakeholders, and in
consonance with SDO Biliran’s Learning Continuity Plan, Pulang Yuta Elementary School, endeavors to achieve the
following specific ends
1. To support SDO Biliran’s Roadmap to deliver quality and safe basic education services amid these critical
times;
2. To prepare the school and community learning center for the new normal way of teaching and learning;
3. To ensure the health and safety of the learners, teachers and personnel;
4. To provide appropriate learning modalities customized for its learner’s current situation;
5. To provide access to LGU, private sectors, Internal and external stakeholders for support.
