1. Encryption
Requires fully installed Kaspersky Security Center with proper license.
Navigate to the Installation packages node located under Remote installation.
Right click on Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows and click on Properties.
On the Properties link, scroll down and check on Encryption of hard drives (For workstations
online)
Create a task to deploy the modified installation package.
To enforce the Encryption policy, click on the Properties of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for
Windows.
Expand Data Encryption and configure Full Disk Encryption to change Encryption mode to
Encrypt all hard drives.
Restart the endpoint machine so that the first restart should prompt the preboot agent to
check the hardware of the device to ensure compatibility.
After the reboot, a prompt should pop up to enter user name and password to pass thourgh
the Kaspersky Reboot authentication area. The username and password is similar to the
user’s domain account.
After clicking on Continue on the Authentication agent window, Windows will boot and
continue for another restart.
Under Data encryption and protection, click on Encrypted devices and on the right windows
the encrypted device is shown.
