Abstract: The whole educational system from elementary to tertiary level has been disrupted
during the lockdown period of the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) not only in India
but across the globe. Thanks to Internet that has prevented the loss of student’s valuable time.
Online Education System has played a vital role in handling the uninterrupted learning and
setting routines for students comprising online-classes, projects, extracurricular activities and
Exams. It has prevented unprecedent huge loss of academic year beside maintaining all
covid19 rules and regulation like social distancing and large gathering. Virtual Education is even
better than classroom education as it is cost effective and time saving. It led the student to be
free from distraction and concentrate on live or recorded session. Students can also take
classes at their own pace and time. School’s students are also transferring to Digital education
environment. It has made them digitally smart. Many students and teachers have got new
exposer in this pandemic. Online teaching was also new experience for some schools. It took
some time for them to tackle this pandemic due to non-availability of expert technical staff and
resources. We need to make sure that each school have installed good number of servers to
handle number of user when attempting to visit their particular school website for giving exams
or attending class. They need to invest in these technologies. Many ed-tech companies are
continuously upgrading their online platform and software for better performance. These
upgrading has made classes be streamed with ease.
