Corruption in the Philippine Health Insurance Corp.

(PhilHealth)

Corruption is unethical and immoral in nature not just it’s a form of

thievery but it also violates the right of Filipinos to universal health
care, taking billions of pesos away from state resources intended
for this purpose. Stealing is illegal, a problem of legal deterrent. At
the first place heft/stealing and taking things who does not belong to you like graft and
corruption is unethical and wrong because it violates truth, when there is ongoing
corruption or stealing ongoing the officials or person involves will make concealment to
avoid retribution, goes against that. It also violates individuality because theft of the
money/fund belongs to the PhilHealth contributors violates one's sense of self by
claiming the things that belong to another and this graft and corruption

LAW ENFORCER AS LAW VIOLATER BUT GETS PROMOTION INSTEAD OF

PUNISHMENT

Ethical issue can also be in a form of Inequality especially if

it includes the personality that enforces the law. Last May
21, 2020, Malacañang declined to elaborate on President
Rodrigo Duterte’s decision not to remove Metro Manila’s
top cop, Police Major General Debold Sinas, amid
allegations the latter violated quarantine protocols. It is an
ethical issue because there must be no one above the law.
The enforcer violates the protocol no matter what rank or status he is holding, there is a
quarantine protocol that is being breach but no punishment is given. While ordinary
people like the ex-soldier that has been killed by cops that follow the order of President
Duterte troops to kill quarantine violators and jeepney drivers that imprison because of
violating the law. It is unfair for the ordinary people who was given a grave punishment,
while high profile public official was given special treatment
Death of African-American Man on the police costudy

The US has been convulsed by nationwide protests over the death of

an African-American George Floyd, 46, who died after being arrested by
police outside a shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the hand of police
custody.

It was an ethical issue, the man on the headline died in a very senseless
matter begging for his life, pleaded to the police to set him free for he can’t breathe. He
died without the proper questioning or legal presecution. This inequality and deprivation
of life suffer by George Floyd can be trace on how the White discriminate the black
people as which explain the system of White people being superior to the black and
what equality you would expect from this system that won’t design for black people like
George and white people(Policemen) you begin to take the law into their own hands.

PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism is unethical for three reasons: Firstly, it is unethical because it is a form of

theft. Though ideas are intangible, plagiarism is considered to
be stealing the intellectual property by directly or copying
ideas of word without the consent of author or never citing
the rightful owner and source of that words/idea with the
intention of convincing or making believe the other people
that its your original idea. Secondly, it is unethical because
the one who commits the plagiarism takes all the credit from
its rightful owner, he/she gain the benefit from others people
effort. Thirdly, a degree, recognition and title earn because of plagiarism can be a risky
for the employer and the company that expect that skill, knowledge and abilities of
employee are true but instead he gain it by copying and taking credits of others
achievement.
