Guess what I’m going to do
You are going to have an exam. You are going to have a date.
You are going to bake a cake. You are going to do some exercise.
You are going to give a presentation. You are going to write an email.
You are going to clean your room. You are going to stay up all night.
You are going to have a driving lesson. You are going to write a report.
You are going to watch a movie. You are going to play football.
Before class, make one copy of the cards for each pair of students and cut as indicated.
Procedure
Give each pair a set of cards. Ask them to shuffle the cards and place them face down in a
pile.
The first student picks up the top card and tells their partner one thing they are going to do to
prepare, before they start doing the planned activity on the card.
Example:
If their partner is wrong, the student gives them another clue. The first student can give up to
three clues. If their partner guesses correctly, they keep the card. If not, the first student
keeps the card.
Then, they switch roles and continue with a new planned activity card.
The student with the most cards at the end of the activity is the winner.
