I, Majeti Yasaswini Naga Sai Lakshmi, the adopted daughter of Late Majeti
Srinivasulu, formerly Senior Assistant of the office of DTC, Prakasam, humbly
submit the following few lines for kind consideration and favourable orders.

I submit that Sri Majeti Srinivasulu, who was differently abled (visually
challenged), has worked as Junior Assistant and Senior Assistant in the office of
Deputy Transport Commissioner, Ongole from 2004 to 2019 and while in
service, he expired on 3.1.2020 due to ill-health. He was unmarried.

In this connection, I submit that while he was working as such, had

adopted me during my childhood on 22.08.2012 with due consent of my parents
through an notarized affidavit. As my adoptive father Sri M.Srinivasulu felt it
necessary to make necessary entries in his Service Register on the strength of
notarised affidavit, I was informed by him, that his seniors in the department
had advised him to get the adoption registered in Sub Registrar’s Office for
making necessary entries in his S.R. Accordingly, my adoptive father got my
adoption registered through a Doc.No.6/2018 on 2.8.2018 in the Sub Registrar’s
Office, Inkollu of Prakasam District and produced the same in the office of DTC,
Prakasam and got it recorded in his S.R through the proceedings second cited
above.
As per transfer certificate given by headmaster of sri chaitanya school tangutur

Prakasam district vide certificate number 374/dated:-19.06.2006 against

father’s Column the name of my adoptive father’s name i.e majeti.sreenivasulu

is recorded. Therefore, in the year 2006 my adoption took place by then my age

is hardly 5 Years.

But, unfortunately, my (adoptive) father Sri M.Srinivasulu expired on 3.1.2020

while in service due to ill health leaving me alone, who is sole dependent on him.
Hence, after completing rituals, I approached the DTC, Prakasam and
requested to provide employment under compassionate grounds and the same
was not accepted by the DTC, Prakasam District without considering the actual
date of my adoption in 2001, on the plea that the adoption period is not more
than 5 years as required under the Scheme of Compassionate Appoints as per
Govt.Cir.Memo No.60681/Ser.A/2003-1, General Administration (Ser.A)
Department, dt.12.8.2013.

In this context, I humbly beg to submit that I an adopted female by the

deceased Government Servant and except me, there are no other relatives to
him and I am only the dependent survivor in his family. As it is a noble fact that
being a dependent unemployed female without any other family support, it is
very difficult to take livelihood in the present society. Since I am only the
dependent of the deceased, it is justifiable to consider my case for providing
employment on compassionate grounds keeping in view my miserable position,
if necessary, by relaxing any conditions set for the providing of employment.

I submit hereunder similar cases wherein the Government have

considered the candidatures, where the minimum period of 5 years is not
completed after adoption taken place.
1. G.O.Rt.No.888, Tr.R&B (Ser.IV) Dept., Dt.24.7.2009
2. G.O.Ms.No.85, Education (SE.Ser.IV.1) Dept, Dt.3.8.2009
3. G.O.Rt.No.1236, Municipal Admn. &Urban Dev.(D2) Dept, Dt.5.8.2013.
4 .G.O.Rt.No.1387, Revenue (Services.III) Dept., Dt.20.11.2019.
5. G.O.Ms.No.300, Irrigation & Com.Area Devpt (Ser.V) Dt., Dt.9.12.2009.
6. G.O.RT.No.354, R and B engineer in chief Dt.,29.10.2020
I submit that it is evident from all the records that I was taken on
adoption well before demise of my adoptive father Sri M.Srinivaulu and as a
matter of fact and caution, he executed a registered adoption Document in
addition to the notorised affidavit executed long back before 5 years of his
demise. Therefore, is judicious to render social justice to me by providing
employment under compassionate grounds by relaxing rules/conditions, if any,
found necessary by treating my case as a special case.

I submit herewith the copies of documents, viz., death certificate,

adoption certificate, Proceedings of DTC, my qualifications, etc., for kind perusal
and consideration.

Finally, I pray the benign Transport Commissioner, AP, Vijayawada to be

kind enough to recommend my case for appointment as Junior Assistant under
compassionate grounds and for relaxation of rules, if any, keeping in view my
hardship and miserable position, for such act of kindness, I will be very much
thankful to you Sir,

Thanking you Sir,

Yours faithfully,

Encl: As above.
