Annotated Bibliography

My research question was ¨What can be done to help third world countries have clean
water?¨ I picked this topic because it is a worldwide issue that needs to be solved. I feel many
efforts have been made for it but yet people still struggle with the fact that they do not have
access to clean water so therefore I wanted to see what was holding us back as a nation from
solving this problem.

This is just a list of facts about the need for clean water. It was from an organization
which is a reliable source. It gave statistics and numbers to further back up my point for the need
of clean water. It's a good source because it also listed the places it found these stats so if needed
I could look to these sources for more information.
This is a good source because it gave me good statistics. They will be easy to use and to
add in. It is from an organization and shows where they pulled the numbers from so I know that
it is reliable and not fake news.

This article addresses why people need access to clean water. It talks about how clean
water is a key factor in health. It also addresses how clean water can help communities. This
source is for getting clean water everywhere. It is intended for everyone to learn about and hear
about. It fits the debate because it gives evidence as to why people should all have clean water.
It's a good source because it is from people who are actively trying to solve the problem.

This is a good source because it goes into detail for the need of clean water for all. This is
directly from an organization that helps get clean water to those who need it so I know that they
are a good source to use. This group wants to help and is a solution to my question.

This talks about people's right to clean water and how the UN is working to get clean
water to all corners of the earth. It talks about different approaches. It also talks about different
benefits of getting everyone clean water. It is intended for everyone to learn about and hear
about. It fits the debate because it gives evidence as to why people should all have clean water.
It's a good source because it is from people who are actively trying to solve the problem. It is
pretty unbiased and is pretty straightforward to giving info on the subject.
This goes into more depth with the need for clean water and gives other statistics to the
importance of it. It shows how others are trying to solve the problem as it is an international
problem. Laws and such are being passed to try and help.

This just talks more about the importance of clean water. It gives another source that says
it is needed for the health of all to have clean drinking water. It gives a lot of statistics for my
project that I can use in my presentation. It is a good source because it comes from the world
health department. It also discusses the needs of clean water and what it can be used for. It also
talks about the challenges of getting clean water and the social issues that have arisen. It is an
information source that does not have a bias. It is providing information for the general public.
This source adds to the evidence of why water is important and how everyone deserves
clean water as it is a basic right for all human beings. This gives me more information as I am
looking for a solution to my question.

In conclusion, I think the issue is lack of knowledge not lack of people that want to fix
this issue. More awareness needs to be shown to the issue of the lack of clean water. These are
good reliable resources that will be easy to access and to use to back up the solution I found for
my question.
