A Debt of Gratitude and Welcome Address

To our executive oversight of the DepEd-Isabela, Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Reynanate
Caliguiran, our distinguished guest, Ms. Rebelyn Rosales, Municipal officials who are with us, Barangay
officials headed by Hon. Glimerson Laverinto, GPTA officers who are very active in helping our school headed
by Kgwd. Reymel Linda, our charismatic, curvaceous Officer-in-charge Ma’am Lailanie A. Nicolas, to our head
teacher who always give advice every Monday and share his pick-up lines, Sir Danilo C. Ocampo, Our dear
parents, teachers, friends, visitors, my fellow candidates, ladies and gentlemen, Good Morning.
I’d like to welcome everyone to this solemn and joyous occasion-our moving up ceremony. It has been
long four years, but here we are, ready to move up. We worked hard to get to this point, but we didn’t do it by
ourselves. Maraming mga sumuporta, gumabay, nagbigay ng lakas ng loob at naging inspirasyon namin. We
owe a huge debt of gratitude to the following people.
Sa aming mga guro, thank you for unselfishly sharing your time, talent, and knowledge with us. We
know it was your job pero ang ginawa nyo sa amin ay beyond the call of duty. Maraming oras ang ginugol niyo
sa pag-eexplain ng aming mga assignments at minsan ay paulit ulit pa dahil hindi kami nagbibigay ng atensyon.
You allowed us to come to your classroom after school for extra help. You put in the effort to make lessons
more interesting so we wouldn’t just tune out. You demanded excellence from us whether or not we wanted
to give it. You set the bar high and challenged us to live up to it.
Sa aming mga magulang, salamat po sa pagsuporta sa amin sa hindi mabilang na kadahilanan. You
dragged us out of bed each morning at sinisiguradong, kami’y nakapag almusal na at nakabihis ng maayos
bago pumasok. You herded us, you helped us with homework even in simple ways, you paid our class fees and
listen to our complaints. Kayo ay nakikinig sa mga drama namin araw-araw at binibigyan niyo kami ng sapat na
oras at panahon para kami ay matuto sa mga bagay -bagay. And these are just a few of the thousands of ways
you’ve supported us on our journey.
To our advisers, thank you for making school more than just classwork. Through sports, we learned
how to power on through adversity and give it our best effort, win or lose. We learned the importance of
discipline and good sportsmanship. Through other activities like participating in clubs, schools contested
activities, and service projects, we learned how to work closely with others to achieved common goal and we
had a lot of fun doing it. To our advisers, you gave us experiences that we will not forget. Those experiences
are unique because it’s our first time to do it. Without your patience and help some of us might not be
accelerated today. To our Officer-in-charge, head teachers and all the office staff, thank you for keeping things
running smoothly.
To fellow completers I wish you good luck for the coming years in our lives. May the years to come be
kind to all of us and May the Good Lord Almighty blesses us wisdom and showers us more blessings and
success. Let me end my message by quoting the adage of Ralph Waldo Emerson says “Do not follow where
the path may lead. Go, Instead, where there is no path and leave a trail”.
In behalf of the grade 10 completers, it is my pleasure to extend our cheerful welcome to everyone.
Once again, WELCOME and good morning.
