Scene 2 onwards – the destination for the cult meeting. It is suitable as it will be dark and gloomy
which creates a scary setting. There is also a big clearing which is perfect for the filming.

Lighting Information:
It is a forest, so the lighting is dark as the trees
are shielding us from the sunlight.
Sound Information:
It is a public footpath so there will be sound
from other people. There will also be sound
from the trees depending on the weather. The
sound of rain can be very loud.
Power Information:
There is no way of getting power because it is
outside in a public place.
Hazards:
Trips and slips as we are in the forest. Electric
shocks from the equipment if it is raining. And
there are weather hazards as we are outside.
Solutions:
I am going for a dark and gloomy mood in my
short film, so I do not need much lighting.
However, I will take a light with me and use it
so that we can see what is going on. I will also
get light from the candles to make it look more
natural and scarier.
Solutions:
I will wait until people have passed before I film
so they aren’t in the background and so that
there isn’t any sound from them. I will also go
on a day when the weather is good so there
isn’t sound from this.
Solutions:
I will make sure that all equipment is fully
charged before I begin filming. I am also going
to film over two days so that I don’t run out of
charge.
Solutions:
I would make sure that I keep my equipment
tidy so there is less risk of tripping. I would also
choose to film on a day when the weather is
better so there is less risk of weather problems.

Scene 1 – when they are preparing to go out. It is suitable because it shows a normal family life
which creates mystery as the audience wonder what this ordinary family could be doing in a
thriller film. The location also shows what kind of people they are as we see how they live.

There is 4 ceiling lights and other side lights, so I do not need a solution as the lighting is
the lighting is very good and bright. perfect.

Sound Information: Solutions:

There is sound from the kitchen appliances. I will make sure that all windows are closed so

Scene 1
Mysterious background music
The outside of the house is windy and

from 11am- 1pm with all of my actors. We
will be filming almost all of the remaining
scenes.
13th Dec Filming from 10am-11am. We will film the
car on its way to the forest so I will need
my dad to drive while I am filming.
22nd and 23rd Backup days in case an actor cannot
Dec make it to the filming day for any reason.
Also for any filming that is not yet finished
or needs improving.
18th – 22nd Jan Editing all scenes throughout this week. I
am aiming to edit from 10am – 1pm and
then from 2pm until 4pm each day of the
week.
25th – 29th Jan Extra time to edit in case I couldn’t edit on
one of the days or in case I need to re film
anything that didn’t turn out how I wanted
it to.
