roles of the institutions are, however, different. The diversity of
organizations and their role in society was of great benefit for all
involved.

Knihovna Kroměřížska was founded in 1897.
It is a public library. It provides free access to information
and services for all the public.
Proinov is a portuguese new company, born in 2005, after
its business plan has won an innovation prize in Madeira
Business Innovation Centre (www.ceim.pt). Proinov was
created to be specialised in e-Learning, multimedia and
didactic games, inside the group.
Biblioteca Antim Ivireanul - area of social cohesion and
conviviality. It provides a learning environment for all ages,
by offering continuing education and a comfortable
atmosphere for study.

PL INSTYTUT INNOWACJI IT EURO-NET SK KRAJSKÁ KNIŽNICA V ŽILINE

Innovation Institute was founded in June 2006 by 13
Innovation Representatives – participants of INNOVATOR, a
union project. The mission of Innovation Institute is to
promote transfer of ICT solutions, increase a transfer of
innovation between business and science, create a demand
for innovative products and solutions.
EURO-NET is a not-for-prof it association was founded in Krajská knižnica v Žiline is a cultural, informational and
1998 to create a door on Europe and to promote the birth educational institution, having started its history back in
of international partnerships and European projects. 1924 as the City Public Library. Nowadays, its founder is
Žilina Self-Governing Region.
