PURE SCIENCE DIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENT 2021

Dear Secondary 3 students,

In order to assess your readiness and ability to take Pure Sciences at the GCE ‘O’-levels, a diagnostic
assessment for each subject will be carried out during the first few weeks of school in 2021.

This is the tentative schedule and topics tested for each of the subjects, that you may refer to for your
preparation.

The test format for each of the Sciences will be as follows:

• Paper 1 (Multiple Choice Questions) 10 marks

• Paper 2A (Structured Questions) 30 marks
• Paper 2B (Essay Question) 10 marks
Total: 50 marks

Please spend some time to catch up and revise during the holidays, while not forgetting to take a good
