COASTAL SURVEILLANCE RADAR SYSTEM (CSRS)

The Coastal Surveillance Radar System (CSRS) provides situational
awareness with adequate radar coverage of the coasts, territorial
waters and exclusive economic zones of Turkey and create a
defined maritime picture supported by data received from radars,
electro-optical sensors and other public institutions for Turkish
Coast Guard. The CSRS aims to increase cooperation level of public
institutions and organizations in charge of coastal areas of Turkey,
and enhance efficiency of reconnaissance, patrol, and search and
rescue activities. With CSRS, Turkish Coast Guard will be able to
deal much more decisively with smuggling, illegal immigration,
fishing and sea pollution.

TUZLA CLASS PATROL BOATS COMBAT SYSTEMS

Designed for the Tuzla-Class Patrol Boats and having expandable
architecture with the indigenous HAVELSAN products, the Combat
System provides the advanced technology, through domestic
sources and capabilities, needed for the supply and modernization
of combat platforms of the Turkish Navy.
Tuzla-Class Patrol Boats are the first national warships of Turkey
constructed in a private shipyard. The design of the Combat System
was made by bringing together Weapons (remote controlled
stabilized machine gun) and Electronic Systems (navigation,
communications, search, detection, underwater detection,
command & control systems) of the latest technology.
The Combat System performed its mission by directly hitting the
target in its first trial during surface and anti-aircraft fires in the
best way and broke a rather challenging performance record.
The Combat Systems produced for Tuzla-Class Patrol Ships have
been developed to fulfill mission functions for reconnaissance,
surveillance, and patrolling and underwater defense warfare in the
straits, bases, port approach waters and regions closer to coasts
and contribute to base, port defense mission functions.

SHIP DATA DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS (SDDS)

Produced in a fully-redundant way, the Ship Data Distribution
System (SDDS) was formed by two cabinets and data distribution
lines that simultaneously perform collocated functions at two
separate points of the ship.
This superior design ensures at the highest level the continuity
of data feeding to the critical sensors and weapons onboard. The
SDDS is the heart of the platform it is used on as it is.
In addition to its significant contribution to safe navigation and
operation execution of the platforms, the SDDS can generate
dynamic virtual data instead of real sensor data when desired,
and this way feed the relevant systems of the ship and create a
training environment by means of its Recording, Analysis and
Simulation units.

The goal in the TORAKS R&D Project is develop a mobile torpedo fire
control system that can be integrated onto command and control
systems in various classes of submarine platforms in a way to
incorporate common features of modern torpedo weapons fired
from submarines. Since it is a domestic and indigenous system,
the continuity of development, maintenance and sustainment
activities can be ensured. TORAKS has a modular and extensible
structure capable of addressing different integration needs. Its
capabilities include;
• Shell selection,
• Monitoring fire stages,
• Assignment by means of target selection to the torpedo to be
fired,
• Entering and modification of torpedo parameters, manual
control of torpedo by operator,
• Engagement planning.

SUBMARINE DATA DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS (DBDS)

Submarine Data Distribution System (DBDS) provides all kinds of
information needed by a submarine from the source and smiliar
to nervous system, distributes information to related systems
in a safe manner required intervals and formats. With DBDS, the
information flow between submarine sensors, weapons, command
& control systems and other navigation equipment could be
centrally managed and controlled.
For a safe and secure oprtation of the submarine, DBDS executes
the following;
• Collects the high speed raw data,
• Prioritize the data iaw user instructions,
• Distributes the data to clients in required format and period,
• Controls the priority levels of the sources,
• Records the data for latter control and analysis.
