into the Institute. All Admission are done purely on merit basis

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Selected candidates would have to pay the fee of Rs. 65,950 (sixty five thousand, nine hundred
and fifty only) by 18th June 2015 between (10:30 am to 3:30 pm only) through pay order
drawn in favour of ‘J. D. Birla Institute’ except in case of students who are required to undergo
Bridge course/s. Students having to undergo bridge course/s would have to pay Rs. 1,500/- in
addition for each bridge course.

2. All required documents and mark sheets must be produced, in original, for verification at the
time of payment of fees. Candidates must carry spare photocopies of the documents not
submitted earlier. Admission will be confirmed only after verification of all original
documents.

3. The 3rd list of eligible candidates will be put on Thursday, 18th June 2015 only if there is a
vacancy.

4. Parents of all newly admitted students are hereby notified that they will have to attend a ‘Special
Session’ with the College Principal on 1st July, 2015 at 10:30 am in the College Auditorium
located at 11 Lower Rawdon Street, Kol-20. ID cards and other relevant documents will be
handed over to the concerned parent on the same day by the college authorities. This is
mandatory and parent must participate in the meet to understand the requirements of the college.
Newly admitted students will have to accompany their parents to submit an anti-ragging
undertaking, collect the ‘UGC Anti-ragging Booklet’ and the booklet on ‘College Rules &
Regulation’. Students however will not attend the special session.

5. The new session shall begin on Monday, 6th July 2015 and it is mandatory for all newly
admitted students to attend the orientation programme from Thursday, 2nd July 2015 to
Saturday, 4th July 2015.

6. Admitted students must submit 10 copies of passport sized and two copies of stamp sized
photographs; they must write their full name on the rear side of each photograph.

7. Students will have to fill and form on extra-curricular activities; the form is available at the
college office.

8. Candidates will have to submit the following on a minimum 10 rupee stamp paper along with
the requisite fees to ensure their admission to the Institute for Session 2015-2016.

 I will abide by the rules and regulations of the Institute to pay fees within prescribed
time;
 If I do not maintain the mandatory 60% attendance, in aggregate, by the end of each
semester as per examination rules and if I do not abide by rules or regulations of the
Institute, the Principal reserves the right to detain me from appearing in the end-
semester examination conducted by the Institute.
 I am aware and conscious of the menace and consequences of ragging and will not
be a party to any such activity.
