because it allows healthcare professionals to
catch illness and disease before it progresses

preventative medicine. However, 1 in 3 adults
over the age of 50 have not gotten their
recommended colonoscopy. This is a big
problem because colon cancer has a 90%
survival rate if detected early, according to
cancer.org. The problem is that only 4 in 10
colon cancers are being detected at this early
stage, To be detected, people need to be
getting their colonoscopy's.
When asked why they didn’t get one, 52%
stated “because of the cost”.
This is why healthcare professionals
need to do more to prevent cost, because
lowering the cost will make patient's feel
comfortable to come in, and could potentially
save thier life.
