when required, either via MS Teams or through emails.

Evaluation criteria: The course follows a tentative assessment criterion as follows:

Quizzes, assignments, and class participation 50%


Mid-semester examination 30%
End-semester examination 50%
Term Project Submission and Presentation 50%
Trivia: Best two quizzes might be considered for final assessment; however, you’re expected to attend all
the quizzes and continuous evaluation activities.

Term-end Project: The term-end project shall be a group task taken up by the class participants wherein
the student will be required to identify one aspect of finance & accounting function of a business (preferably
a corporation listed on any Indian stock exchange, decided in advance), search for an issue related to it and
provide some insights using data available in the form of analysis based on the understanding gained from
the course. Further details would be provided in the class.
