As per notification of Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation, this is to inform all the
students of Infomax College of IT and Management studying BScIT and MBA programs of APU that
ALL the in-course assessments of ALL ongoing cohorts will be conducted as Alternate Assessment
Method as per following schedule
NOTE:

What is Take Home Exam/Assignment/Test/Quizz?

This is also referred to as Open Book Exam in which students are asked to complete a task (theoretical or practical) that is intended to
showcase their practical skills and thought process. Question(s) are handed out, answers are attempted without help from others, and
the exam is returned within a specified period of time. These tasks are accompanied by a due-date/time (End date/time). During take-
home examination, you can't copy chunks of text directly from textbooks or notes. This is plagiarism.

Important Instructions/guidelines for alternative assessment methods

Each Take-Home Examination/ Assignment/Test/Quizz/Case Study/Essay will have a start date/time and end date/time.

For example, an assignment Question start date/times 9:00 AM of June 20, 2021 and End Date/Time is 10:30 AM of June 20, 2021. In
this case, the student can download the assignment question as per his convenience but he/she is abided to submit an assignment on
or before 10:30 AM of June 20, 2021.

 Time Duration of Take-Home examination will be ranging from 1.5 to 48 hours (applicable for test/quiz/exam as decided by APU
Module Leader).
 For ease of our students, Take Home examination for test & quizz will be given in sequential order i.e. one a time. For example –
• Module A – 25 to 27 July 2021
• Module B – 28 to 30 July 2021 and so on.
 Take-Home Examinations Assignment/Test/Quizz/Case Study will be provided through Microsoft Teams/Turnitin.
 The student will be required to submit typed submissions only. Handwritten submission will not be permitted. University roll
number, module name, code, intake code and type of exam need to be mentioned in answer sheet compulsorily
 In case of any diagram/figure/ table, the student has to redraw the same (copying images for online source will not be permitted).
 For programming-based assignments, students must use some free text-editor tool (to be decided by Module Leader) for writing
their code.
 Students are firmly advised to use paraphrasing method while writing their answers. Plagiarism shall be checked for all
submissions and exceeding the permitted limit of plagiarism will be panelized as per APU Academic dishonesty regulations.
 Files in which solutions are written must named as follows: <student_university_roll_no>_<module_name>_<Exam_component>
• Example: Student having roll number NPI00003 would name the file for Personality Development Assignment
