PERMA : POSITIVE EMOTIONS
 Positivity is the tool for more resilience and life
satisfaction. The building blocks for positivity are
joy, gratitude, interest, serenity, hope, pride,
amusement, inspiration and awe.

 Research shows that people who experience positive


emotions in a 3-to-1 ratio with negative emotions
foster greater thriving.

 When we're truly engaged in a situation, task, or
project, we experience a state of flow: time seems to
stop, we’re optimally challenged, we lose our sense of
self, and we concentrate intensely on the present.

 The more we experience this type of engagement, the


more likely we are to experience well-being.

 We are "social beings," and good relationships are core
to our thriving. People who practice having
meaningful, positive relationships with others are
happier than those who do not.
