Lifestyle Redesign® focuses on…

goals to enable the infusion of personally satisfying
and health-promotion activities into daily life”
(Clark et al., 2015)
Introduction
Sleep - “Activities related to obtaining restorative rest and sleep to
support healthy, active engagement in other occupations” (OTPF,
2020).

Sleep Preparation (Sleep Hygiene) - “Engaging in routines that


prepare the self for a comfortable rest, such as grooming and
undressing, reading or listening to music, saying goodnight to
others, and engaging in meditation or prayers…” (OTPF, 2020).

Cancer-Related Fatigue (CRF) Framework
Cancer-related fatigue (CRF) is multifactorial and all potential contributing
factors are needed to be assessed to understand the unique presentation
on the individual’s life. This framework proposes a number of factors
associated with CRF (Prucell, 2009).

Other Unique Factors:

● anxiety/depression
● poor nutrition,
● support
● decreased activity,
● education
● sleep disturbance
● employment
● pain

● Each night when laying in bed, the participant would place headphones on

● The participant would play the guided imagery audio from their phone and listen
to it before falling asleep.

● The participant could play the guided imagery from their phone multiple times if
wanted.

● The participant would then self-reflect at the end of the week in the COPM form.
