FROM THE DEAN‘S DESK

“Nursing is not just an art, it has a heart. Nursing is not just a science, but it has
a conscience.”
During pandemics nurses must decide how much high-quality care they
can provide to others while also taking care of themselves and their loved
ones there may be times when a registered nurse must make a choice
based on moral grounds in order to maintain professional integrity. As
front-line healthcare professionals, nurses are key stakeholders in
developing and implementing policies regarding standards of care
during the COVID-19 pandemic
Our reason for being is to advance the health and well-being of
individuals and populations through nursing education, practice,
research, scholarship and creative activity. It is through this mission that
we will continue to be recognized as a premier centre for nursing
education, and will advance the discipline of nursing through thriving PROF. URMILA DEVI BHARDWAJ
research and scholarship. DEAN, SNSR, SU

Our Nursing students are distinguished by their critical thinking skills, leadership ability and excellence in clinical practice.
They move on to positions where they shape and in uence the future of healthcare both nationally and internationally.
SNSR, Sharda University can be found providing care at a patient’s bedside, working effectively with multidisciplinary teams,
directing challenges related to international health, educating future nurses or leading research projects pertinent to
improving healthcare for our patients and their families.
This is a truly exciting time for the nursing profession, and a challenging time for health care. The need for nurses has never
been greater and the impact we have on the health care system is very powerful. As such, the faculty and I are fully committed
to helping our nursing students achieve their educational goals, whether they are at the undergraduate, graduate, and post
graduate level.
Our focus is on a very special type of nursing student – one who wishes to excel in the profession. Our College has been
preparing the nest professional nurses who care, cure, and create new knowledge in improving the health of individuals,
families, and communities. Most importantly, our nursing graduates assume leadership roles throughout the state and
beyond and actively shape the health care of tomorrow.

It'll be the same alright?

Our minds are lled with Qs and As
We try to make us busy in every possible ways
A Small Virus has put all of our lives on hold
Our young and energetic body seems like its old
The social gatherings are now replaced with online greets
Our classes and lectures have shifted to Google Meets
Exams are now Digital but our Stress is the same
Our hopes might be befuddled but we wont lose our aim
The faith maybe shaken future might be unclear
It may take time to Recover but good times are near
Respect the staff of Health who makes sacri ces for us
And deal with the situation calmly not to make a fuss
We can and will survive this, it'll be the same alright!!
We have to hang in there, just a little bit more

How To Be Happy!

To be happy is the right of everybody but it is very difficult to be happy.

Life is so full of troubles and sorrows that it is quite difficult to be happy.
It is a general opinion that money can give happiness to man. It is not so.
As it is said, “Money can buy medicines but not health, it can buy books
but not knowledge, it can buy a company but not happiness.
”Happiness does not come with big houses and comforts of life.
The reason is that happiness is a state of mind.
The richest man in the world cannot be happy if heist disturbed in Abey T. Johnson

The wise man says that real happiness may come by doing well to others
by making a sacri ce for others and by feeling satis ed with one’s happiness.
Try to make others happy and happiness will come to you.
