8. Only those who are fast cyclists can manage the trip from Calgary to Banff (All C are M). Pedro is
a fast cyclist (All P are C). Therefore, Pedro can manage the trip from Calgary to Banff (All P are
M).
9. All appeals to supernatural causes are ultimately based on ignorance (All S are I). All arguments
based on ignorance are fallacious (All I are F). Therefore, all appeals to supernatural causes are
fallacious (All S are F).

10. Only candidates under the age of 30 are eligible for the internship program (All U are E).
Malema is not under 30 (No M are U). Therefore, Malema is not eligible for the internship
program (No M are E).
