About the Programme :


Master of Commerce, is a postgraduate course in the field of commerce that is particularly
aimed for students who want to become an expert in different fields of banking and finance. 
This course is of 2 years duration and is highly regarded and very well received in the
industry. The course provides quality education to the students serving the needs of
managerial cadre in business and industry. It also serves the purpose of research and teaching
in business studies.

However, many of the graduates who choose to pursue M.Com choose to do so in order to
pursue a Junior Research Fellowship and attempt the UGC NET. The career opportunities in
research and teaching increase after graduating from M.Com and clearing the examinations.

Eligibility:
M.Com can only be pursued by graduate students from commerce background
(B. Com./B. Com. Hons.) with a minimum of 45% aggregate secured at graduation level .
OR
A Graduate with Honours in Economics or Mathematics or Statistics with a minimum of 45%
aggregate.
