Question:

In today's era pollution is one of the major issues. Rapid increase in population results in increase
in construction and demolition projects. The use of sustainable materials in construction projects
can reduce the pollution as well as produce sustainable and efficient building structures. Metals
and their alloys are also being used as vital sustainable materials and replacing many
conventional materials. As an building construction material specialist, repond to the following:

i. Select atleast ten materials which are used as sustainable materials in building
construction. (1 Mark)
ii. Identify one project in Pakistan and one International project in which sustainable
materials (which can be a metal or an alloy) are used. Mention the building name, its
location and year of completion of the project. (1 Mark)
