Specifications of feed ingredients
• Specifications are defined as a group of standards given
by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) or Indian
Standards Institute(ISI) to different feed ingredients
for feeding of animals.

• These are essential for feed quality assurance

programme.

• And serve as basis for ration formulation.
