ANNE: I really like those shoes
JIM: Which ones?
ANNE: Those blue high heels.
KATIE: Why don’t you ask the shopkeeper about them?
ANNE: Sure. Excuse me?
SHOPKEEPER: Hello, how can I help you?
ANNE: I would like to buy some shoes
SHOPKEEPER: Of course. Which ones do you like?
ANNE: I like those blue high heels.
SHOPKEEPER: These ones?
ANNE: Yes. How much are they?
SHOPKEEPER: 17 pounds.
ANNE: That’s great. I’ll take them.

JIM: It’s getting cold; I think I need to buy a coat.

KATIE: Do you want to go and look in the clothing
store?
JIM: Yeah, I like the look of that brown coat in the
window there.
KATIE: Oh yeah. It looks warm. Do you want a coat
with a hood?
JIM: Yes, I think so, and waterproof.
KATIE: Well what about that blue one, it has a hood
and is waterproof.
JIM: Oh yes. Let’s go and ask about it.
SHOPKEEPER: Hello. How can I help you?
JIM: I would like to buy a coat.
SHOPKEEPER: Which one do you like?
JIM: I like the blue one.
SHOPEKEEPER: This one?
JIM: Yes. How much is it?
SHOPKEEPER: 25 pounds.
KATIE: That’s a bit expensive Jim. How about the
brown one?
SHOPKEEPER: That’s 19 pounds. Special offer.
JIM: That’s great. I’ll take that one.

ANNE: That’s a nice coat Jim.

Where did you get it?
JIM: At the clothing store.
ANNE: How much did it cost?
JIM: 19 pounds.
ANNE: Wow, that’s cheap.
