Read the information, diagram and instructions on how a candle is lit and answer the
questions. Use the questions in the red boxes to think about your answers. If you do
not know the answers, use your textbook, class book, kerboodle and internet.

Lesson 2

Design a leaflet to explain how a candle works and how nice smells are put into
candles using the answers from the previous questions. Imagine this leaflet is going
to be given to the public so the difficult concepts need to be explained in a simple
way.
